What have we signed up for? I have to dance with Toriel again, Crystal with Papyrus. Neither of us particularly like dancing, it felt better when it was just us and the music. We got along really well. I looked to everyone talking, as I stood silently in the back. Crystal locked eyes with me, and gave a small smile. I took the time to leave, saying I had to go to my post in waterfall, then teleported out. I groaned leaning on the table.
"Hiya Sans!" A small yellow monster said loudly, basically yelling, as they came running to me, but not before they trophies over their own footing and their face smashed into the ground. Sheepishly I sat there watching them, but they hopped up no problem then came charging towards my stand and laid their head on my stand.
Did I mention, they had no arms or legs? No?
"Hey MK" I grinned, as usual, "whatcha want?" They just giggled and started running in a circle.
"Two!" They shouted, making me sit back in my chair
"Two what?"
"Two things!"
"Those being?"
"Well, I want to meet Undyne and invite her to the school so she can teach everyone how to be so cool, and strong! Maybe she could even beat up the teachers! Or better yet become a teacher!"
"Woah, kid, I run a hot 'dog stand." I chuckled, they grinned up to me
"I know! Haha, and the second thing I want is a hot cat!" They beamed up, I leaned forward to see MK and then back to stand up and pull a little hot cat out of the cooler beneath the stand. It was cold, so quickly with my magic my eye lit up and blue flames engulfed the cat for a second before I blinked it away and it was a good temperature. I slipped it in a bun and placed it on a napkin, laying it on the table for MK.
"Want any ketchup?" I asked, they shook their head
"No, I know how much you love your ketchup." They beamed, showing their row of sharp teeth. I started to laugh, MK wasn't wrong.
"How're you gonna eat it, kid?"
"With my mouth." They said seriously, making my snort a second, their eyes snapped up to me, slightly worried "are you okay?"they asked. I wiped a small forming tear, and nodded.
"That was good kid,"
"What was good?"
"Eh, Nevermind, its nothin'." I grinned, it was still fake, but I held it for the kid, as I did everyone. I slid the cat a little bit closer to the edge for MK. I quick popped my head beneath the counter of my stand to get a bottle of ketchup. MK watched me lift the bottle to my teeth, I glanced down to them watching me with eager and a grossed out face. I chuckled, and squeezed the bottle, the cold red contents flooding my mouth, the taste was perfection in my mouth. MK laughed, but not after giving the most hilarious grossed out face I had ever seen someone react to seeing me drink ketchup before.
"How do you like ketchup?" I leaned a bit over the counter
"How don't you?" A wide smile formed on their face as they hopped up and took the cat in their mouth quick scarfing it down before dropping a few gold onto my stand
"Thank you Sans! See ya later!" They shouted back running farther into waterfall. I sighed, pulling up the grin, I held up the bottle up ketchup
"Don't worry bout it kid, I got a few things to ketchup on!" I chuckled to my self, leaning back in the chair continuing to drink ketchup, till my shift would be over. After about six more bottles, I was perhaps a drunken mess, giggling and attempting to make puns at everything. As a sudden amazing thought after my shift I was going to go to Grillby's. I, best I could, packed everything away before teleporting to my seat in Grillbys. He didn't look surprised when I was suddenly there
"H-hey grillbs...! -hick- heh, you're lookin pretty h-hot today-day!" I slurred, making him look up and stare at me, his eyes furrowing a second. It was a funny pun if it didn't sound like flirting. Which I had no intention to do, you dirty shippers. I chuckled to myself and laid my head on the bar, a wide smile on my face.
After about an hour of Grillby listening to my terrible- scratch that, amazing puns, my head slammed onto the table, making Grillby jump and looked at me worried. I curled my arms around my head and started to tear up.
"Why is this time so d-different?" I asked quietly. Grillby had rose an eyebrow in confusion, but I couldn't have seen it, I ride my head allowing the tears to slide down my skull quickly. Grillby looked startled by my tears. This was the first time I had drunkenly cried in the bar in this timeline. I let out a hollow laugh. "She's never been in a timeline. At least that I know of..." I sullenly looked to the scotched up wood of the bar, but with closer inspection I could see the times my finger had dug into the bar from last time I had gotten drunk. "What if she is just pretending to be n-nice, but she'll tu-turn... Turn around and stab- knife in my back...?" His face was full of confusion and worry, I sighed. "I'm sorry Grillbs..." He rose a hand. I slid off the chair and stumbled to keep my balance, but slowly I made it to the door and pulled it open, stepping out and embarrassing the cold. I looked up to the sky, as dark as usual. But the glowing crystals on the ceiling were glowing lighter than usual, making it even more dark. I sighed, and took a step forward, or attempted to, as my weak knees gave out and I was face-first in the snow. I groaned loudly, and tried to teleport to my bed, but that went wrong and I instead teleported to the stairs in our house. Crystal and Papyrus, who were both on the couch watched as I appeared there, then couldn't keep my balance and fell down tumbling over myself, till I hit the bottom of the bottom of the stairs. Where they both watched in horror, and in unison they both ran to my side. Crystal gasped as she saw a large crack in my skull. I didn't get to see anything after that, as I had passed out.
