13.Week Hyped On Coffee

Sitting at my post in hotland, I watched as the kid came running up to me, her face lit up.

"Hi sans!" I smiled up to her

"Hey kiddo..." Her smile softened

"Have you gotten any sleep at all?" I shook my head. After I decided what world I had to choose I chose reality and haven't slept in a week now. "Sanns! You need sleep too!" She sighed, leaning over the counter to give my skull a sweet little bonk. I chuckled to her ruffling up her hair in return, she giggled her face spread with a small blush. I leaned back in my hair and went to grab my coffee sitting on the counter, but frisk snatched it and popped the cap off, pouring it out onto the ground.

"Frisk! No!" I cried, now out of my chair and half way across the hot dog counter. She only blankly starred at the spilled coffee at the ground.

"Sans." She whipped her head up, "you need sleep." She took my hand and pulled me out from the stand. "I think Papyrus would understand if you took the day off..." I sighed not wanting to fight back, as I was drug back by Frisk. We made it to the elevator before I wrapped my arms around her and teleported to the house. She was a little dazed so I had let her rest on the couch. I on the other hand went to the kitchen to make some more coffee "SANS!" She cried loudly making me jump and whip around to face her "don't yOU DARE GET MORE COFFEE! Come here and take a nap!" She said sternly pointing to the seat next to her on the couch. I groaned but listened and laid down beside her. "Now sleep!" She was basically demanding. I closed my eyes, as she snuggled up beside me. I wasn't going to move her.

I was back once again.

I sat upon the couch too see papyrus starring at me with teary eyes. I only hopped up and held my arms out.

"SANS!!" He cried crashing into me with a big hug, I pat his back gently

"Im sorry I was gone..." I mumbled into his scarf. He looked up to me with orange teary eyes.

"You were gone a week..." I nodded, I knew I was gone a week. It was intentional. I sighed and pulled away

"Where's Crystal?" I asked, Pap smiled softly and stood up. He only hummed as he pointed upstairs, I turned to see frisk sitting on the couch watching us silently still dazed

"Sans I told you to sleep!" She groaned, I only starred at her dumbfounded

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I said raising my voice a bit, her eyes widened and she sat up, "Is it because you're sleeping next to me?!" She gave me a questioning face, I only face palmed and stared to head upstairs. I went to my room, opening up the door, it was still just as cluttered but the bed was made, despite the fact someone was in it. I smiled, and flopped onto the bed wrapping my arms around the human within it. She cracked open an eye looking at me, before she screamed and wrapped her arms around me as well.

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!" She cried into my shoulder, slightly laughing as she pressed her forehead to mine. "I missed you, idiot."

"Heh. I'm sorry. Some things came up in the other place..." I trailed off "...and it may or may not have somehow joined me here?" She looked confused, and I sat up, her following my leads as I slipped out the door to the second floor looking over the railing at Papyrus chasing around Frisk. Crystal's eyes widened

"There's another human?" She asked. I nodded,

"But she's from the other world." Her eyes furrowed

"How...?"

"I don't know..." I wrapped my arms around her slightly and placed a small kiss on her lips "sorry. I needed that, heh" I whispered to her. She flushed completely red before beginning to hit me lightly. I laughed, happily for the first time in a while. We had caught the attention of Frisk and Papyrus as they both silently looked up to us. Frisk's face twisted up and she looked away almost immediately, while Papyrus looked up softly. I took her hand and pulled her down the stairs, "we're gonna go out for a little bit... Be back soon." I said waving to them, Crystal rose a hand as well smiling kindly to frisk. Frisk had just looked lost. We stepped out and I looked at Crystal "Grillby's?" She nodded "I haven't eaten there in a week." I chuckled

"Is it not in your other world?"

"No, it is, I've just been avoiding it..." She looked at me sadly, her eyes asking why? "I had a bad experience when I woke up, never had the place been so quiet..." I closed my eyes and sighed

"Hey Sans?"

"Yeah?"

"Tell me more about your other world yeah? I'd love to wake up as well, but heh, that won't happen huh?" I shrugged, i would t know, frisk could come here? could she go there? We got into Grillby's and sat at the bar both of us talking quietly, before she asked again and i just shrugged

"The same pretty much, as I had told you before. You aren't there, Toriel is still in the ruins, Papyrus is less happy I think, and... There's Frisk. The other human..."

"Do they cause trouble?" I gave an 'eh' face.

"She hasn't started trouble, or tried to kill anybody yet." I sighed "but she is the reason why I finally went to sleep..." She was silent a second

"You purposely weren't sleeping?" I froze a second "so you wouldn't have to come back here? Is this not the world you chose...? ...Sans?"
