We just sat in complete silence and confusion. Sans... Had disappeared? I looked to the place he once had been, but he left no traces. I looked to Papyrus who only stared blankly ahead, we knew he could teleport but this time it was as if he hadn't teleported. It was as if he had vanished.

"Papyrus...?" I asked quietly, he looked to me blankly.

"What happened... To Sans...?" He asked lowly, broken, and quietly. Panic began to grow and I pulled papyrus close.

"I don't know! I don't know...! I-i I'm scared...." Shaking I buried my face in his scarf. It reeked of spaghetti, but that just made it more comforting. After I had let go of Papyrus and took him to his room to go to bed early. I read 'The Adventures Of Fluffy Bunny' to him before I slipped out and made my way to sans' room. I shakily took the doorknob and looked in.

Just as before. Messy and cluttered, his bed was a mess and he had a small trash tornado, along with a collection of dirty socks. I sighed, and looked around trying to find something that could tell me where he had gone. I groaned frustratedly, raking my hand through my hair. I left his room, not bothering to close his door all the way and I marched on down to the main level of their house, looking for him. I lifted up the skirt of the couch, nothing. Under the table, nope. In the oddly tall sink cupboard, notta.

I marched back up to his room and went to his desk, angrily yanking it open to grab the key in it. Then proceeded to run out of the house and back around, I quick slipped the key in the lock, a small click gave away the fact it was open. I quietly pulled it open and peeked in, but I saw no sans. I stepped in fearlessly and glanced to the covered machine, before to the drawer with the picture of Sans, Pap, and Gaster.

Yes, I know who Gaster is. He was the scientist that hired sans to be his assistant. The two got along extremely well. I sighed thinking back on the other timelines I had been in. This one though... It seemed as though Sans, hadn't met me before? Why he was always keeping an eye on me, making sure I wasn't going to turn and kill anyone, like Frisk. I knew who she was as well.

Groaning, I turned to leave, putting the picture in my pocket. Back out in the cold I stomped over to the shed, slamming open the door. Nothing. Trudging to Grillby's, I went in and asked Grillby if he had seen sans. His demeanor seemed to fall. I asked the other monster at the counter what happened, and all they told me was that Sans had gotten drunk. I groaned, I knew that. Then he came home and smashed open his head! I left there, then decided the door was the next best place, but, oh yeah! Mrs. Toriel isn't in the ruins anymore! So why would he be there? I ran the other way into waterfall. Stopping at his checkpoint and  peering over the edge to see if he had curled up there to sleep under the small counter. Wasn't the first time he's done that. I ran deeper into waterfall.

Listening to all the echo flowers to see if he had talked to one of them. Not once had I heard his voice.

"Sans... Where are you?!" I groaned loudly, I heard a little chuckle, I glared down to the ground to see Flowey. "What do you want little dandelion?" I spat. He just chuckled

"Looking for smiley trash Bag?"

"Hmm, no I'm looking for my lost dog. You little shit yes I'm looking for Sans!"

"He's been off this timeline hasn't he~" he seemed to sing up to me. I glared down, intrigued by what he had to say.  "You noticed it too! It's almost as if he's been living in a dream!" My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I glared down to him, I gave it and sat down beside him and he just chuckled "he didn't know you. He got that woman out of the ruins. He was generally happy. But of course, within all good dreams you have there has to be nightmares." His smile grew wickedly "he still has that anxiety, and depression, as well as his confusion." I was silent as I stared at the little flower. I couldn't say anything, as nothing was working. "But he's woken up now hasn't he?" I but my lip and looked up to the ceiling. Letting out a small laugh, I stood up,

"You're being ridiculous, little weed." I smirked, he only lifted his leaves in a shrugging motion.

"But of course, it's just a theory..." His smile was wicked as he popped back down below. My smirk quickly fell, and I stared where he once was.

"But you're right...aren't you?"
