I slowly stood from the bar as I had finished the bottle. I dug out some gold from my pocket and placed it on the counter, before I turned to leave.

"Thanks Grillby..." I said, conjuring up the most convincing smile I could, but to no avail. Everyone looked to me with sullen eyes. I turned around and got to the door before I rose my hand in goodbye. From the silence, I stepped out to the howling wind. Something about the snow now just felt wrong and different from what it was in my dream...

Dream.... It was still bitter thinking that it was all just a dream, I knew it couldn't have been... No.

I growled lightly to myself, as I debated on whether to go left towards home or right towards the ruins. After some deep consideration I went right, trying to see if this all just wasn't a big prank that everyone had banned together to go against me. I wrapped my jacket around me a little tighter, not because I was cold, but as a sense of security. I felt way to open right now and I hated it. I took the long way actually walking all the way to the ruins, reaching the tall door I just stared at it a second before I went to my previous spot I always sat at. I let a deep sigh, watching the steam from my breath evaporate. I leaned my head back to the door, and with the back of my hand knocked on it twice.

"knock."

"knock..." I said weakly, it seemed as if all my energy had gone, if i even had any energy to begin with. I chuckled to myself, there was no reply. A small sigh slipped yet again, and I continued the joke anyway

"who's there?" I now grumbled to myself  "Ima" "Ima who?" I was silent for a minute

"Ima... so bonely, without you..." I heaved, laying my head back onto the door and closing my eyes. Soon I was dozing off and tripping in and out of sleep.

I opened my eyes once again to have my back pressed against the wall to the stairs. I groaned standing up, severely confused. I looked around it looked like the house. Clean, but cluttered. There was the sock collection with the sting of sticky notes. On the table was our pet rock. I chuckled, seeing all the sprinkles thrown over it. The door was thrown open to reveal a distressed human, I stared at her for just a second before she looked up meeting my eyes. She seemed to tear up as she threw her arms around me, I pat her back gently chuckling. My eyes grazing the floor.

"Where were you?!" She cried, I didn't answer her as I turned around and walked towards the stairs where the small mirror was. I peered into it, seeing a long crack in my skull. It was strange. Everything had seemed surreal now, but this is the place I'd rather be.

"Don't let me wake up..." I grumbled into the mirror, Crystal peered behind me her eyes widening a bit and she looked to the floor.

"Is this all a dream?" She asked quietly. I quickly turned around to face her, looking to the ground sadly, yet she was smiling. I chuckled, tears forming in my eyes. Neither of us noticed Pap peering over us from within his bedroom by a cracked open door.

"Yeah... Funny isn't it? Knowing that though... This place feels more real than the other one."

"The other place?"

"Just like this one. Heh. Almost. You're not there, Toriel is still trapped lonely in the ruins. I ruined Papyrus' chances with the one idol he looked up to..." She leaned forward and pressed her forehead to mine.

"What world do you want to be real?" She asked quietly, practically whispering to me. Looking up into her blue eyes, I gave an almost genuine smile. First one in what felt like forever.

"This one." She took one of my hands and intertwined her fingers with mine, her other hand repeating the process. We stood there silently for a minute,

"Then let it be." She whispered to me leaning back and smiling to me. Moving in a dancing motion, I quickly caught on and followed her lead quite well. We moved in unison to no music, that is till she quick turned some on very quietly. Then we began to step away, step back. One step closer, our faces barely an inch apart, step back, twirl her away, but bring her back, don't loose her touch. Spin around the room slowly with her, this is our own ball. This is our free-style. The way we please. Spin her close, step back, forward again. Let go of her hand step away and spin on our own. Pass her gently, turn quickly to face her once again. Take her hands. Pull her close, small steps together, moving on forward, lean down.

Press your teeth to her lips.
