The stars held no comfort. I stared at them until my eyes were blurry but I still couldn't work through what had just happened. Darren didn't come after me but I knew he was watching me from afar. I just laid in the grass starting up into the sky with a blank mind. After 20 minutes I decided to replay what happened.

As I thought of what it meant for Darren to open up like that my anxiety rose to where I started to gasp.

"I just need air!" I yelled. As soon as the last syllable was spoken, a gust of wind exhaled from my own body and flattened the grass around me.

"Wow..." I whispered.

It was now or never to start using these powers so I closed my eyes and thought about Darren. I thought about what our future would be and how bad I wanted to know. Then I opened my eyes not to a starlit sky but to two people in a passionate embrace. Those two people were Darren and I, then everything spun until I stopped on us in the mansion. The pack was there and everyone looked really worried, Darren had one hand on my left shoulder and my grandmother on my right. I spun again until I stopped to see Darren walking backwards out the door with his hand reaching out to me. My hand almost touched his but it was as if I couldn't close that extra inch so we could touch.

Everything went black and then I saw the stars again.

I rolled onto my side and started back for the house. I had a killer headache and I needed to sleep it off. I don't know what it is that I saw but I had the intense need to be with Darren. I didn't know what I was going to do about any of this. All I knew was that I needed to stop pushing him away.

I walked back to the house in pain but as I drew near that pain turned to excitement. My insides were turning every which way and I wanted to sprint up the porch stairs. Darren was in the house and he was watching. I felt his eyes lick my sizzling skin and haunt me as I drifted over the stairs and to the door.

As the door shut behind me, my breath drew quicker and I was being pulled into the living room. He was there, I knew he was.

When I entered he had his back to me but I knew he felt my presence. Electricity crackled between us and I felt like I needed a cool bath.

"What is happening?" I asked.

"It's the bond." He said without turning around. "It wants to be fed."

And boy did I want to feed it. I have been fighting myself since I have met this man, I have been fighting my grandmother and my friends. I have been fighting what I truly am and I felt ready to explode through the thousands of pores on my body. I needed him and I needed him now. It was the only way to gain back control.

I confidently started to walk across the room as he turned around, curious as to what I was doing. At first he seemed taken aback but when he saw the look in my eyes his own burst with hunger.

He met me halfway and picked me up to where I could reach his mouth. We pawed and kissed, nibbled and scratched until we ended up on the floor. I had his shirt of in seconds with which he returned it by ripping mine. I didn't care though, I was lost in what was happening between us.

Our clothes melted off of our bodies and he entered me without hesitation. His eyes were changing color to let me know his wolf was trying to take over. I gasped by the sudden roughness of the intrusion and Darren's eyes changed back.

"Are you okay?" He asked and nipped my nose.

"Yeah" I whispered. I urged him forward and once again we were lost in the heat of the moment.
