:: 2 Weeks Later::
Still Prod’s POV
It’s been two weeks and Janelle hasn’t wakened up. I’m starting to slowly lose my sanity. If my sister doesn’t wake up soon I don’t know what I’m going to do. I stayed at the hospital for a week but they said I couldn’t stay anymore. I was livid but Kay and Ray convinced me to come home and sleep. I visit her everyday and it’s about 12:30 now and I’m going to go see her again today. Actually everyone is, including Chresanto. As much as I hate him, he still loves my sister and I can’t stop him. I got dressed in some cargo shorts, a red and black ‘MO MONEY’ shirt. I put on my red and black Lebron’s and then my chain. Then I grabbed my lucky shades and went to Janelle’s room. Something is telling me she’s going to wake up today so I’m gonna get her some clothes. I grabbed her some faded capris, a Hollister tee from her drawer, and her moccasin slippers. I put it in her old dance bag and headed for the door but I spotted a picture of me and her on her mirror. I walked up to it and smiled remembering exactly what it was. It was when Janelle first started middle school and I was already in 7th grade. I smiled at the picture. Then the door opened and it was Kay. “You ok babe?” she asked timidly. I turned to her and slightly smiled. “Yea.” I said. she kissed me softly. “She’ll be fine.” She said after pulling away. I smiled and nodded. We walked down stairs where everyone was waiting. We all piled into Ray’s truck. Ray and I sat in the front, Kay sat in the back with Jessi and Prince. Chres was meeting us at the hospital. We rode in silence to the hospital. When we got there we went straight to Janelle’s room and Chres was standing at the door on his phone. “OK Stephanie….we may not be together but I’m still going to show support…I don’t care if you’re mad, you act like I’m not coming back to the house…ok calm down…yea I love you too.” He said before hanging up. I shook my head. We all walked in and she was still laying there looking lifeless, but every time I looked at her necklace, it would sparkle. That kept giving me hope.
Janelle’s POV
“Hey girl. It’s Jessi. I know you’re not awake but I really hope you can hear me. Anyways!!! Please wake up so we can go get our shop on. i love you girl and it ain’t the same without you when me and Kay have our girl talks. Please wake up.” Jessi said. I still hadn’t waken up and it’s honestly scaring me but I can hear everything. “Hey boo. It’s kay. You know we been like two peas in a pod since we were like 6. You can’t leave now. I need you to wake up like…ASAP. Jessi and I need to tell you a lot of things. We also have girls night out in 3 days and it ain’t gone be right without you. Please wake up snoogie. I love you.” Kay said. She used to call me snoogie when we were little and I used to call her bubbles. Hearing that name made me want to cry but I can’t. I can’t do anything until I wake up. “Hey big head. It’s Prince or as you call me, afro puff. I need you to wake up. It’s boring without you running your big mouth all the time. I also really need your advice on something. Please wake up cause you know you still my little sister. Te amo Nelley.” Prince said. I wonder what advice he needs. He’s probably trying to get something for Jessi. “Hey baby. It’s Ray. I miss you so much. I hate sleeping alone and Isaiah asks about you all the time. Crazy little kid. But I really need you bae. It’s hard sleeping alone. It’s hard sleeping period because I just think about you 24/7. Please wake up baby. I love you.” Ray said. I wanted to hug him and kiss him so hard. I miss him too. “Hey lil sis. You already know who this is. I really need you to wake up cause I miss you. You and Kay are all I have left, to be honest. I mean yea I still have the crew, but you’re my little sister, my own blood. No one can replace that. I love you with everything in me and I miss you Nelle. And most importantly, every time I look at you, you remind me so much of dad. I already lost him and I can’t loose you. Please wake up Nelle. I love you.” He said. I could hear his voice crack and it broke my heart. I LOVE YOU TOO CRAIG. I really want to wake up. “Hey…it’s Chres. I know you probably hate me and never want to see or speak to me again, but I love you and I always will. Even if I’m with Stephanie, you were my everything and I f*cked it up. What I’m really trying to say is that I am so sorry for everything. For breaking you heart and your trust. I just want you to wake up.” He said. I really do want to hate him but I can’t. Then all of a sudden, everything was white and I was standing by myself. I looked around and no one was there. Then I heard a familiar voice behind me. “Hey princess.” The voice said. I froze for a second and then slowly turned around to see my dad. I hugged him so tight and cried. “Oh my god daddy you don’t know how much I miss you. Craig misses you too and we need you right now.” I cried into his chest. He hugged me tighter and kissed my forehead. “Listen baby girl, I know y’all need me but you know what? All of those kids down there need you. I love you so much and you’ve grown to be so beautiful. I mean look at you baby girl.” he said and stepped back. I smiled and blushed. He grabbed my hand and spun me like a princess. I giggled. “But what’s happening daddy?” I asked as he kissed my forehead. “You’re about to wake up princess.” He said and hugged me. I hugged back but I was confused. “Huh?” I said and pulled back from the hug. “I love you princess and be good for me ok.” He said. “Wait where are you going dad?” I said as I began to cry again. He hugged me tight and I closed my eyes. He kissed my forehead. “wake up.” Was all I heard before my eyes popped open. The bright lights above me flashed and I covered my eyes. All of a sudden everyone was surrounding me. Jessi, Kay, Prod, Prince, Ray, and Chresanto all stared down at me. I sat up and took the mask off of my face. I could breathe and see everything. I was in a hospital. Everyone hugged me. “OH THANK GOD YOU’RE AWAKE!!!” Prod said. “We missed you girl.” Kay and Jessi said. “Yea big head, it’s about time.” Prince said. Then Ray smashed his lips onto mine. I melted into his grasp as his lips moved in sync with mine. “Ok Ok I would like to hug my sister now!!!!” Prod said. I pulled away and smiled at him. I turned to Prod and he hugged me tightly. “God I love you Nelle. I thought you were gone.” He whispered. “I could never leave you I whispered back as tears slid out of my eyes. He chuckled and wiped my tears kissing my cheek. I smiled really big. “I missed you guys.” I said and smiled at all of them. “Girl we missed you too!” kay said and hugged me. I laughed. I saw Chres standing off to the side. “Can I speak to Chres…alone?” I said timidly. Chres looked shocked. The crew filed out but Ray gave me a weird look and then left. Chres pulled up a chair and sat beside me. “Ummm Janelle I—“ “NO! Listen. I heard your apology and I know it may seem like it and I hate to admit it, but I can’t seem to hate you. It’s really hard. I’m not promising anything, but maybe we can be friends.” I said. he looked at me shocked. Then he hugged me. I hugged back and he let go looking into my eyes. I had to look away. “bye Janelle.” “Bye Chresanto.” He smiled and walked away. Then the rest of the crew came in with a doctor. The doctor walked over to me. “Goodmorning Janelle. How do you feel?” he said with a genuine smile. “I feel amazing but my head hurts a little.” I said. “That’s perfect. You can leave today, but someone has to sign you out. I’ll be right back with some medicine for your head.” He said and sat the clip board down. “Alright now can you sit up for me so I can check your blood pressure.” He asked. I nodded and sat up. He wrapped the little Velcro thing around my arm and then started squeezing it. “Mhm…perfect. You may get dressed if you have some clothes.” he said and flashed me a smile. “Thank you.” I said as he exited. “Did anyone bring me some clothes?” I asked. Prod handed me my old dance bag. I smiled and got up to hug him. I closed the back of my hospital gown because of the huge slit and shuffled to the bathroom. I pulled out the clothes and smiled. Craig has good taste for a guy. I giggled and put on the outfit. When I walked out I did a strut over to Jessi and Kay and then twirled in between them. They giggled. “Ok so first off, I need to figure out what that favor is Prince.” I said and eyed him. He chuckled. “But I’m starving so let’s go eat please.” I said. “You gotta wait for the doctor. I’m gone go sign you out.” Craig said kissing my forehead and leaving the room. I smiled and then I felt arms slip around my waist and a soft peck on my cheek. I looked over my shoulder at Ray and he smiled. I turned and kissed him softly. He smiled into the kiss and then pulled away hugging me tightly. “Do not ever do that again.” He whispered. I smiled. “I won’t.” I whispered into his neck and then kissed it. He smirked at me and then the doctor came back with a tray that had a cup of water and two pills. “Here’s your meds.” He said and smiled. I took it and placed the cups back on the tray. “Aww is that your boyfriend?” He asked referring to Ray. I smiled and nodded. “yes he is.” I said proudly. “Well you better take care of this girl because she’s a miracle.” He said and grabbed my shoulder smiling genuinely. “Oh I will. Thank you.” Ray replied planting a soft kiss on my cheek. “No problem. Have nice day y’all.” He said and exited. “Aww, I like him.” I said smiling. “Oh so you don’t like me.” Ray said and stood in front of me. “You know I love you.” I said and wrapped my arms around his neck. he smirked and grabbed my ass. I got turned on. “Mhm. You better.” Ray whispered on my lips before kissing me. “Ok let’s go before y’all end up smashing in the hospital.” Prod said as he reentered the room. We laughed and exited the room.
Prince’s POV
When we got back to the house Janelle and I went in the kitchen while the rest went down to the basement. “So what’s this favor you seem nervous about?” she asked as she began to fix ice cream for everyone. “Ok…so I want to get Jessi a promise ring.” I said. she dropped the ice scream and stared at me in awe. “OMG Prince!!! Do you want me to help you pick it out?” she asked excitedly. “Yea.” I said chuckling. She jumped and hugged me. I chuckled hugging her back. “I would love to help!” she squealed. “thanks big head.” I said. she playfully punched me in the arm and then went back to fixing the ice cream and cookies. When she was done I grabbed a big tray and put all the bowls of ice cream on it along with spoons. Then Janelle grabbed the plate of cookies and we walked down to the basement discussing the ring.
Ray’s POV
I’m too happy about Janelle being back. We were all gonna chill tonight and Prince and my baby was upstairs fixing snacks. Prod and I were playing pool while Jessi and Kay sat on the couch chatting it up. Then Janelle and Prince walked in the door whispering things and laughing. I wonder what that’s about. Jessi didn’t even notice. But I shrugged it off as I noticed the ice cream and cookies they were carrying. They sat both trays on the coffee table in front of the couch. Prince and Jessi went and sat on the bean bags and started being all lovey dovey. Kay got up and walked over to Prod and he picked her up and sat her on the pool table standing in between her legs. I shook my head and walked to the couch pulling Janelle down on my lap. She smiled and kissed me long and softly. I turned her over and hovered over her on the couch. She bit her lip and I smirked. She pushed me up and straddled me. She smashed her lips into mine and we made out for like 10 minutes. “Damn I missed you.” She said after pulling away. “I missed you too babe. But most of all I missed those lips, those eyes, that cute little nose, those legs.” I said and rubbed my hands up and down her thighs. I planted little soft kisses on her neck. She smiled and blushed. “Can we start the movie now?” Prod and Kay asked coming and plopping down on the other couch. Janelle and I laughed. She slid off my lap and sat beside me swinging her feet up. I swung my arm around her shoulder and kissed the top of her head. Prod turned off the lights and the movie started. We were watching Evil Dead. Near the end of the movie Prince looked back at Janelle and she winked and he nodded. “I’ll be right back bae.” She said and kissed me. “Where you going?” I asked. “I’ll tell you when I get back.” She said and got up and walked out the basement and up the stairs. Soon after Prince followed. Ok this is really getting to me. We watched 2 more movies and I decided to go find Janelle and Prince. When I walked upstairs I heard Prince’s voice. I walked to the kitchen and Prince was holding Janelle’s hands. “I promise to be your one and only and I promise to love and protect you with everything in me. I love you.” He said. Anger took over my body. “WHAT THE HELL PRINCE!!!” I yelled and charged for him. Janelle ran in front of him and tried pushing me back. “WAIT baby calm down!!! He wasn’t really saying that to me!! He was practicing for Jessi!!” Janelle squealed. I sighed with relief. “Really Prince!?!?” Jessi gasped from behind me. “You were practicing for me!!???” she said. “Yes baby. I wanted everything to be perfect when I gave you this promise ring.” Prince replied pulling out a little box with bow on it. He walked over to Jessi and grabbed her hands. Jessica Marie Sanchez, I promise to be your one and only and I promise to love and protect you with every inch of me. I love you.” He said to her. She began to cry a little and she hugged him and kissed him hard. “Now will you wear my promise ring?” he asked taking out the bright green ring with a silver band. “Yes!!” she exclaimed and hugged him. He slid the ring on her finger and they started making out. “AWWWWWW!!!” Kay and Janelle squealed. Then it started to get a little too heated. “Ok damn! can y’all go get a room?” Prod said. “We can.” Kay said to him. I turned to Janelle and she winked at me and ran up the stairs. Ain’t no sleeping in this house no more.
Awww and lmao. Freakiest teenagers ever. I loved this chapter.
