::Skipping to Lunch::
Ray’s POV
I Was leaving my Latin class to go meet Janelle at her locker so we could go get lunch. I walked down the hallway to the lockers and she wasn’t there yet. I decided to just chill against the lockers. I pulled out my phone and started scrolling through my news feed. “why you standing there all alone sexy?” some girl said. I looked up to see none other than Kasey. “I’m waiting on my girlfriend.” I replied putting emphasis on girlfriend. “Is that so? Why you even with her?” she said coming closer to me and biting her lip. “Because she’s not a hoe like you and I love her.” I replied. “Oh whatever. You’ll want me sooner or later.” She said and switched off. I shook my head as Janelle walked up talking to one of the girls from the dance team last year. “Yea so I’ll see you at tryouts.” The girl said. “yea bye Sammy.” Janelle replied. The girl waved and walked off. “Hey bae.” She said pecking my lips. I smiled. “Hey beautiful.” I said grabbing her waist. She smiled. “You ready for lunch?” I asked and kissed the back of her neck as she put her books away. “Mmm…yes I’m starving.” She moaned and closed her locker turning in my grip. I smirked and kissed her softly. She smiled into the kiss wrapping her arm around my neck. “You two need to get to lunch or study hall!!” our principal Ms. McClarkson said. “Sorry Ms. McClarkson.” We both said. she nodded and we walked to lunch laughing. When we walked in Janelle was greeted by some of the girls from the dance team last year. I was greeted by some of the boys from the football team. We sat at the table in the back where everyone was. Chres was talking to Steph and Rose about baby stuff, Jessi and Prince were making out and Kay was grubbing. Damn she and Prod are perfect. I laughed to myself and sat down. “Hello peoples!” Janelle said. They all responded except for Rose and Steph. So what’s up after school y’all?” Jessi said. “Ok I have Dance Tryouts and Kay got cheer tryouts.” Janelle said. “Oh I’m trying out for the dance team too!” Rose said. “Great!” Janelle said sarcastically. I smacked her thigh. “I MEAN…I mean cool.” She said and glared at me. I pecked her lips and she smiled.
::Skipping to After School::
Janelle’s POV
Kay and I were in the locker room discussing our different routines for tryouts. “I still can’t believe Rose is trying out for the dance team.” Kay said. “I know.” I replied. Then the girls started piling into the locker room for tryouts. Kay and I had changed into some nike track shorts, sports bras, and work out tanks. I grabbed my clip board and Kay grabbed hers. We walked out to the gym and gave the ladies 5 minutes to get dressed. “10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1!!” Kay and I shouted and then blew our whistles. We laughed as the girls came running out of the locker room. “Ok ladies have a seat.” Kay said. they all sat in front of us and I saw two faces I didn’t want to see. Rose and Kasey. “Ok so we are sharing the gym. Dance team has one half and cheerleaders have the other.” I said. “So can I have my cheerleaders line up on the line over there and dancers follow Nelle to the other side.” Kay said. we did our handshake and then split off. “Ok so we’re gonna start with a simple dance. I’ll teach it and you will practice it and perform it tomorrow. But first we’re starting off with skills. Can I get my flexible dancers on my right and power dancers on my left.” I said. of course kasey the hoe went to the flexible side but rose went to the power side. Interesting. “Ok flexies, I need to see a front arial to split.” They all lined up and went one by one. Kasey did it and I wasn’t surprise. She be hittin splits on the dick on the regular. I chuckled to myself and started marking things up on my scoring chart. I went through more of the basics for the flexibility requirements and then went to my power dancers. “Ok power houses. I need to see the following skills: front arial, side arial, switch kicks, Arabians, and all spins.” I said. They all went through the basics. A couple are definitely not ShockStar material. ShockStar is the name of our dance team. Anyways I got up and started teaching them all the dance.
