*Cas' POV*
I saw the apology come from Dean's bruised lips. I didn't think it was Dean who the police scanner was talking about. I just nodded my head as if to say it was okay. I looked down in confusion. What was the fight about..? I looked back up and saw who his competitor was, Crowley. He gave me the nastiest look along with an evil smirk. I could feel a lump form in my throat. Now I really want to know what it was about. I turned and headed back towards my house, both the police cruisers buzzing by me. I opened the door and saw Madisyn sitting on the couch, face brightened by her phone's screen.
"Who was in the fight?" She asked, turning towards me. I bit my lip but shook my head.
"No one I know." I lied. She raised an eyebrow at me.
"I saw you kiss Dean... Are you two-."
"Together?" I interrupted. She nodded. I nodded back, smiling slightly.
"I thought you would've been happier about that.." Madisyn muttered. I looked towards my door.
"Trust me, it's nothing like I planned.." I said, walking towards my door.
"Wait! Come here. It's been a while since we actually talked." She demanded, sassily. I turned on my heel and shuffled over to her.
"Well, what do you want to talk about?"
"Dean. You look real sad and stuff and when I brought up Dean, you looked moapy. What's up?" She pryed.
"He got.." I took a deep breath. "Arrested for getting into a fight with one of his friends..." I trailed off. Her eyes widened.
"Does Sam know?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. Sam. Sam. Sam. I shook my head. "Well, he should." She picked up her phone and began typing. I stood up.
"Welp, I'm tired and going to sleep. Goodnight." I felt like I was talking to myself because all she did was nod slightly. I walked over to my room. Once I reached my bed, a realization struck. I forgot I still had my old family movies. I put the VHS tape into the player and pressed play. I felt my body warm as I saw my mother and Gabe.. I felt a tear run down my cheek as I saw their smiles and heard their laughs once again.
*Madisyn's POV*
I felt the couch vibrate. I looked down, Sam responded.
"Wait, if he's hurt, why don't you fix him?" I sighed, I forgot I told him..
"Because I don't want him to know. Only you know about it and I've done it to Cas twice.. I would but I'm still getting used to it."
"Well, we'll see how bad he is if me and you run into him tomorrow. If he's bad, you have to fix him. You're an angel of the Lord, you're job is to help people, right?"
"Not exactly but that's some of it." I put my phone down and sighed, I don't like this.
----------
"You're free to go, Winchester, but tell me again, why'd you get so defensive over his comment?" The officer questioned, he should remember.
"Because my mother died in a fire somehow." I snapped and stood up, walking out of the station. Thank God someone towed my baby here, I was not walking. I got in and flipped the mirror down. "Not as bad as I thought." I referred to my smaller-than-expected welts. I turned the key in the ignition and smiled as her engine roared. I pulled out onto the road and bombed it back to my house. I heard my phone go off, it was Sam.
"Hey, how's your face? Heard you got into a fight."
"Not bad, just a few bruises. How'd you know I got into a fight..?" I questioned.
"The scanner. I figured it was you, that's your second home haha." I rolled my eyes and put my phone back onto the passanger seat. I pulled into my driveway, got out, and walked into my run down old home of mine. I saw a shadow near my couch, looked like a human.
"Hello?" I shouted, I wanted whoever was in my house scared.
"Hello Dean." A males voice replied. What the hell..? How the hell did he know my name?!
"Who the hell are you?" I snapped.
"The thing that killed your mother." My eyes widened. I turned on the light and ran at the man. I didn't care who the hell he was, I was going to rip his throat out! I felt an invisible force push me up against the wall, pinning me. "Now, now Dean. You should know not to run at a powerful demon." He said calmly before showing me his bright yellow eyes.
"Demons aren't real!" I screamed, trying to get loose. I heard some fluttering, kind of like wings then the whole room went white.
"Dean! Dean!" I opened my eyes. Sam was standing over me. When the hell did I get here? Why... What..? "Dude, you're late, go." Sam said, walking outside. I sat up and looked at the clock, 7:29. Shit, my first set of classes start at 7:45. I ran outside and started my car, driving towards Cas' house. I saw Madisyn walking down the driveway.
"Where's Cas? I was supposd to give him a ride to campus." She looked over.
"He left already, he just said something about the station, I don't know. What happened to your face?" She asked.
"Fight, gotta go, bye." I said, pulling out and bombing it towards the hell hole. I couldn't get that guy out of my head. Was it a dream.. No one was in the room with my mom apparently except for Sam and my dad.. Demons aren't even real. I shook my head as I rounded the corner, pulling in the parking lot.
(I'm pretty sure you guys already figured Madi was an angel, the way she cured Cas in earlier chapters. Hehe. Buuut, I want your guesses, was Dean's encounter with old yellow eyes a dream or real? I don't know why but I thought this story was going to be a bust and no one would read it so I would delete it but NO, people actually like it! Ahhhhhhhhh! :D Thank you for reading so far, it makes me happy and reading your comments makes my day. I LOVE YOU ALL!! <3 c; )
