(A/N This chapter is a little different and shorter than usual but bear with me, I think it will turn out good. Hopefully.)

-Dean's POV-

I woke up and looked over, Cas wasn't there. I checked the table for a note, nothing. I went to the living room to check there as well, again nothing. I raised my eyebrow and called his phone. I turned around in confusion when I heard it ringing in the house. Why would he just leave and not take his phone? I pushed it out of my mind and hoped he was just at the store and decided to make breakfast. We didn't have much eggs left so I just made toast. The door opened and I turned around, expecting it to be Cas. It was Madi. I cocked my head.

"You said you'd be home at two, not eleven." I said, confused. She shrugged and rolled her eyes.

"She woke up and puked all over her bed so her mom brought me home." I made a disgusted face and took my toast out. "Where's Cas?" She asked after a few minutes of quiet. I shrugged.

"I'm not sure. I woke up and he was gone, no note or nothing. That and he left his phone." She furrowed her eyebrows and shrugged.

"I hope nothing bad happened to him." I nodded in agreement. The house phone rang and I ran over to answer it, hoping it was Cas.

"Hello?" I said.

"Is this Dean?" The lady said. I regognized the voice, it was my neighbor.

"Yeah, hi."

"I didn't mean to wake you but around four o' clock this morning, something at your house woke me up." I raised my eyebrow, no one was awake at four, right?

"I don't think anyone was awake here at four, can you explain what woke you?"

"Oh yes, well, I woke up to a bright light in my window, coming from your house. It was blinding. Then I heard a wooshing sound and the light stopped there." She said, her tone worried.

"I-I don't know what you mean. What do you mean by a bright light?" I asked. My mind thought of different questions, was it Cas or someone breaking in..?

"I looked out my window and every single one of your windows that I could see had the same bright light coming out of them. And just like that, it all went dark again." I couldn't think of anything that could do that. We parted our goodbyes and I told Madi what she said.

"That kind of sounds like an angel type of thing but I'm not sure. It could've been anything." She replied, shrugging. I let out a frustrated sigh and ran a hand through my hair. I walked back into mine and Cas' bedroom and clenched my fists, trying to hold in all my emotions. Cas was missing, the stupid lights in my house, angels. This was too much. I pulled my clothes on and walked out. Madi looked at me, confused. "Where are you going."

"To find your dumbass of a brother."

----------

I jolted up and looked around, this wasn't my room and Dean wasn't next to me. I walked out of the room and looked around, Sam was sitting at a small table but it wasn't Sam. This one was older, more distressed.

"Hey, you're finally up. You okay?" He asked, walking towards me. My eyes widened and I bit my bottom lip. This wasn't real, this isn't my life.
