Akane's P.O.V

When I wake up in the morning, Kakashi is hugging me tightly. I slip out of his arms and take a shower and get dressed then go into the kitchen to make breakfast, the breakfast I make is simple because Kakashi doesn't have very much food in his home. I hear Kakashi wake up and make his way to the kitchen "Hey," He says in a raspy voice as he leans on the entry "Hey," I say in a soft voice "Breakfast should be done by the time you finish showering and getting dressed" I tell him then hear his foot steps get closer to me "Did you already shower?" He asks and hugs me from behind then buries his face in my hair "Mhm" I hum a response and feel him lift his face from my hair "So then you won't shower with me?" He whines a little and I laugh "No, I won't" I tell him and he squeezes me "Come on, go get showered and dressed, today is Lord Third's f-funeral" I say and stutter when I say out loud that he is dead, he was the first person I got to know and he was nice, he did so much for me and I wasn't able to repay him "Hey, don't cry" Kakashi says and turns me around then wipes the tears off my face that I didn't know were leaving my eyes "I'll be with you all day, so don't worry" He tells me and I nod, Kakashi kisses my forehead then lets go of me "I'll go shower now" He tells me and I nod again.

I take a deep breath then go back to making breakfast, and as I predicted, it's done the same time Kakashi is done showering and getting dressed. We both eat in silence and Kakashi cleans the dishes when we both finish "I have to go home before the funeral and change" I tell Kakashi then stand from my seat and head for the door "I'll come with so we can head to the funeral after" Kakashi says and I nod. We put on our shoes then I open the door and the sky is dark "It'll probably rain" I say and Kakashi nods then we leave. When I get home, I quickly change and we head to the funeral, the turn out is big, as to be expected when the Hokage dies but he wasn't only a Hokage, he was a great family member and a good friend to everyone as well. Later into the service, it starts to rain "The sky is crying too" I hear Asuma say which makes me lower my head. One by one, everyone in the village stops by Hiruzen's coffin before leaving. After I visit the coffin I head to where Naruto is to make sure he's okay "Hey," I say getting his attention and kneeling down in front of him "Sorry I didn't come by yesterday to make sure you were okay, I was at the hospital" I tell him.

"Are you okay?" He asks in a broken voice and I nod "I'm better now, how about you? Are you okay?" I ask and he lowers his head "Lord Third was probably the only one you had back then, huh?" I ask and he nods a little "I'm sorry about that" I tell him but he shakes his head "How are your wounds?" I ask and he shrugs "Mind if I heal them for you?" I ask and he shakes his head. I place a hand over the wound on his cheek and heal it before moving on to the other wound on his face then making sure he wasn't injured anywhere else "You can take those off now" I tell him when I'm done and motion to the gauze taped to his face, he peels them off and ball them up in his hand "Make sure you throw those away" I say and stand then he nods. "Naruto, say something please" I whisper "I love you, onee-chan" He says and hugs me, I hug him back tightly "I love you too, Naruto" I whisper to him and then we let go. "I'll see you later" Naruto says and I nod then he leaves "What was that with Naruto?" Kakashi asks coming up "I was just making sure he was okay" I tell him and he nods "Hey," Kurenai says coming up with Asuma and places a hand on my shoulder "Hey" I say with a little smile and laugh while wiping away some tears "Why don't we get some tea and get out of the rain?" Asuma suggests and we all nod before leaving.

The four of us end up going to my house for tea, before going to make tea I get all of us a towel. Kurenai helps make the tea, Kurenai starts to put some honey in one of the cups and I look at her she looks up and smiles slightly before saying "Asuma like's his tea with honey" I smile and laugh a little "That's adorable" I tell her and she blushes "So, how did it go with Kakashi yesterday?" She whisperers over to me and we look into the living room where Kakashi and Asuma are talking "What do you mean? All you told me to do was tell him I was okay and that's exactly what I did" I tell her and leave out a few details "Come on, I saw you two walking to the funeral together" She says "Yeah, so we walked somewhere together, what about it?" I ask and she shrugs "Than what about you and Asuma, what went on last night with you two?" I ask her and her face turns red again "I ended up staying the night at his house" She says and I look at her with shock and happiness "Did anything happen?" I whisper even quieter and she blushes even more "Kurenai!" I yell suddenly "Is something wrong?" I hear Asuma call over "Um, Kurenai just accidentally put salt in one of the teas instead of sugar" I call back "Don't worry, I'll make another" I call back to them again and then smile at Kurenai while she blushes.
