Kakashi's P.O.V

It's been just about two months now since Lady Tsunade told me that Akane was awake, she was able to have visitors a month ago but she refused to see anyone. Just yesterday, Hanibi told Sakura and I that Akane is finally letting people come and see her. Asuma, Kurenai, Kotetsu, Izumo, Genma, Gai, Juro, and Hisoka as well as Sakura and I decide to go and see Akane. "I don't think everyone should go in all at once, we should go in, in small groups or just one at a time" Kurenai says as we're all walking to the hospital and Kurenai stares at the flowers shes holding while she walks "That's a good idea, we don't want to over whelm her" Hisoka speaks up and a few of us nod. We walk the rest of the way to the hospital in silence and once we get there we decide who's going in when "I think Kurenai should go in first since it was her idea" Genma says while we're deciding "Okay, how about Asuma, Sakura, and I go in first and while we're in there you guys can decide who goes in after us" Kurenai says, we all nod and the three of them start to walk in the direction of Akane's room. We all quickly decide that Izumo and Kotetsu will be going in after the three that left since they have to get back to their guard duty soon and Genma would be going in as well since he has to leave for a mission soon, we all sit down and wait. "So," I say and turn to Hisoka and Juro "You guys are Akane's ANBU partners right?" I ask "Yeah, going on missions without her as been so weird. We really miss her" Juro says.

"Yeah, I can't wait till she gets better. I miss talking with her" Hisoka says and smiles down at her hands while she plays with them "Thanks to her I've come out of my shell a lot, I'm able to talk more without being afraid, I don't flinch at everything, and I was able to get away from my terrible family" Hisoka adds on "I feel like she made us better, she helped me with my temper and I feel like am able to talk to people without scaring them so much" Juro says "She also helped Hisoka and I get together" Juro adds and Hisoka's face goes entirely red "Akane helped me realize that I should also have some fun instead of working all the time" Genma says "Do you think it's weird for me to be here?" Izumo speaks us and asks us all "I mean, I don't know Akane as well as you guys. I only met her once before she left for 15 years and even after she came back I haven't hung out with her at all, not alone at least" Izumo finishes and Kotetsu laughs a little "Relax, Akane thinks of you as a friend so it's not weird for you to be here at all but if you don't feel comfortable being here then you don't have to see her" Kotetsu tells him and he nods "I'll go in" He says quietly "Akane is quite a strong girl and shes smart, I hope to be able to battle her again sometime soon" Gai says "We have to make sure she gets better first Gai, we can't let her jump right back into her normal routine of training  day and night again" I say and he nods.

"Do you guys think she'll be the same? Like do you think she'll go back to her normal self as if nothing ever happened?" Juro asks "The doctors did say that she didn't have any brain damage but I'm sure she went thought a lot of trauma and that must have changed her in someway" Hisoka says softly "It would be weird if she wasn't at least a little different, right?" Kotetsu asks, no one really answers. Everyone was too deep in thought about the subject, no one seemed to be able to find the answer. "Hey guys," Kurenai says coming up to us all "Who's ever going in next can go in now" She finishes. Genma, Kotetsu, and Izumo all stand before walking away in the direction of Akane's room "How was she?" Juro asks "She seemed to be doing well" Asuma says and takes a seat next to me "She cried" Kurenai says and it looks like Sakura was crying as well and was also about to "Are you okay, Sakura?" I ask and she looks up at me "Yeah, I'm fine" She says and rubs her eyes "I'm so glad she's okay" Sakura whispers "Well, I hate to leave so soon but I have to go and train my team" Asuma says standing "My team also has a mission we have to get to" Kurenai says and stands as well "I also have training with Lady Tsunade" Sakura says, seeming to toughen up a bit and stands "See you guys around" Asuma says before and the girls leave as well with a little wave.

Kotetsu, Genma, and Izumo aren't in there for long, it seems like they didn't have much to talk about "The next people can go in" Kotetsu says, looking and sounding drained of energy "Why was your visit so short?" Gai asks and Genma smiles slightly "We didn't have much to talk about and it was just really awkward" He explains and Gai nods "Well, we have to get back to duty. We'll see you guys around" Izumo says and leaves with Kotetsu who waves to us before leaving "I also have my mission to get to, make sure to keep me up to date about how Akane's doing" Genma tells me and I nod then he leaves "Hisoka and I are going in next" Juro says standing "If that's okay with you guys" Hisoka says and stands as well "Sure, go ahead" I say "Well go last" Gai tells them, Hisoka nods then leaves with Juro to Akane's room. Juro and Hisoka are in there for a long time, they only leave when they are told to so Akane can bathe "They say that once she's done bathing that you guys can go in and see her" Hisoka tells us when they come out "Thank you" I tell her, she nods before leaving with Juro. "What are you going to say to her?" Gai asks after a few moment of silence between us "I'm not sure" I tell him and he nods "Are you prepared to see her?" He asks and I shake my head "I know I've been going to see her everyday for the last few months, but the last time I saw her was two months ago and it just feels so weird" I tell him.
