Kakashi's P.O.V

After talking with Jiraiya, I walk down the streets of Konoha to find Naruto "How long are you to be gone with Jiraiya sensei?" I hear Sakura ask and look over to see her and Naruto at Ichiraku's "Three years" Naruto responds and slurps his ramen "So you're going to be gone for three years and Sasuke is going to be gone, well no one knows how long he will be gone" Sakura thinks out loud "That means I'm left here alone with Kakashi sensei" She finishes and sighs "What's wrong with being alone with Kakashi sensei?" Naruto asks with his mouth full "Nothing! Don't get me wrong, I love Kakashi sensei and there's still so much more I want to learn from him, but do you think he knows medical jutsu?" Sakura asks and I take that moment to walk in "Sorry, but I don't" I say and stand at the entry way "I only know some standard medical things that anyone could do, even if they can't use chakra" I say and take a seat at the end by Sakura "Do you know anyone who does know medical jutsu?" Sakura asks and I shake my head "No one other than Akane" I tell her and she sighs again "I don't know her personally, but Tsunade is also very good at medical jutsu" I tell Sakura and her eyes light up "So it's decided, pervy sage and I will tell Tsunade to come back here and become Hokage, when she gets here you can train under her!" Naruto claims.

"Sorry Sakura, but can I talk to Naruto alone for awhile?" I ask and look at Sakura, she nods before getting up and leaving. I talk to Naruto about everything he needs to know and what I wanted to tell him "Do you know how onee-chan has been?" Naruto asks as we walk down the streets of Konoha "No, no one's heard anything" I tell him and he lowers his head "Kakashi sensei!" Naruto suddenly says and stands in front of me, making me stop walking "I leave onee-chan in your care, make sure she's back to full health by the time I get back in three years!" He says and flashes me a smile, I'm taken back but then I smile and laugh a little "You're leaving her in good hands" I tell him and his smile grows wider "I'll say goodbye to you before I leave tomorrow!" Naruto yells as he runs away and waves, I sigh then make my way home to cook dinner.

Akane's P.O.V

I don't know how long I've been in the hospital because of the fact that there were no windows in the room, but what I do know is that my condition has gotten worse. My chakra is eating away my body from the inside out, I'm always burning hot or icy cold, I'm in pain the entire day and I grit my teeth to keep from screaming in pain, and slowly, my body is going numb "We have to get her into surgery right away!" Hanibi yells as I'm being rolled down the hallways by nurses with doctors running along side "Her left lung is collapsing, her kidneys are being rotted away and her heart beat is slowing!" A doctor yells once they get me to the operation room and have me hooked up "We need to work fast" Hanibi says and I can see a scalpel in his hand "I'm sorry Akane, but we're going to have to cut into you before the anesthesia can go into effect" Hanibi says and starts to cut into my abdomen, I scream out in pain but it's muffled only slightly by the anesthesia mask. I can feel them touching my organs,  I can feel the organs taking different shape as they try to heal them, I can feel my organs on the tray beside the operation table, but then all that goes away and I pass out.

When I wake up, I'm in my windowless room again. I sigh and look around then a nurse comes into the room "How are you feeling, Mitizu-san?" She says and stands by my bed, looking me up and down "Numb" I'm barely able to whisper because my throat is so hoarse from the screaming and then not talking at all. I assume only a few days pass by before my condition drops even further at a fast and alarming rate "Akane, we're going to put you in this healing chamber we made for you, at all times there will be five medics constantly healing you" Hanibi explains to me as they quickly roll me down the hall and into another windowless room, they lift my body and put me into this clear chamber then hook me up before closing the top, five nurses start to heal me and I feel just slight release from the pain "This chamber should keep all the good things in and take all the bad things out but it'll be a slow process, the chamber also intensifies the healing ability" Hanibi explains the chamber more and I nod slowly.

Kakashi's P.O.V

Two months roll by since I first took Akane to the hospital and no one's heard about her since, the gossip also faded out a month ago with rumors she was dead, or she at least had to be 'She's not really dead, right?' I think to myself, my mind was in a consent battle with itself on whether she was dead or not "Kakashi sensei, look" Sakura says and taps my arm to get my attention, I look down at her then follow to where her finger was pointing "Who's that?" She asks and I see Tsunade "That's lady Tsunade" I tell Sakura before walking away from her and up to Tsunade, Sakura catches up to me and stands by me once I stop behind Tsunade "Lady Tsunade" I say and she turns around along with the women that was also with her who was holding a pig "I know I'm asking a huge favor from you since you don't know me but, my friend has been in the hospital for two months now in a dire condition. I was hoping you could go in and see if you could help her? If not could you go in to see her and see if she's still alive? No one will tell us anything about her condition" I ask her.
