Kakashi's P.O.V

I don't get much sleep that night, I was just so happy that Akane was okay that I couldn't wait to go to the hospital and see her. I eat a small breakfast after my shower then head out to meet Sakura "You're here first?" Sakura asks when she walks up to the hospital at eight and I'm already there, she smiles slightly with her head down then looks back up at me "Let's go see if we can see Akane sensei" She says with a close eyed smile just like Akane "Hm" I nod and we walk into the hospital entrance. "Can I help you with something?" The women behind the desk asks once Sakura and I stand in front of it "We were wondering if we could see a friend of ours, Akane Mitizu" I ask and she seems taken back a little "I'm not sure if she's allowed to have visitors yet, let me ask" She says before getting up and walking away to find someone "What if we can't see her?" Sakura asks and I look down at her "Then you can go find Lady Tsunade and start training with her" I tell her "But what about you?" She asks and I look away "I'll find something to do" I say and sigh. A few minutes later the women comes back "You can see her, please follow me" The lady says with a smile, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in and walk behind her with Sakura by my side "She's in a coma right now, and doesn't seem to be waking up anytime soon so you won't be able to talk to her, unfortunately, but we believe people in a coma can hear what's going on around them so feel free to speak to her, just don't expect a response" The lady from the desk tell us, we nod and she stops in front of a door before opening it "Just ring the buzzer if you need anything" She says with a smile before closing the door and leaving.

"She's really okay" Sakura sounds muffled when she says this so I look down at her to find her crying and covering her mouth with her hands "Of course she is, that's Akane for you" I sigh and hug Sakura. We pull up some chairs to Akane's bed side and Sakura ends up talking to Akane about everything, how the weathers been, how progress on cleaning up the village has been, how Sasuke and Naruto left but promised to come back, how Lady Tsunade came to the village, became the new Hokage and helped her, how Sakura's going to train under Tsunade and become a great medical ninja like the both of them. While Sakura was talking I must have fell asleep because the next thing I know, Sakura is shaking me awake "Kakashi sensei" I hear Sakura and jerk up in my seat "You fell asleep" Sakura laughs and covers her mouth  "You looked, didn't you?" I ask and run a hand through my hair before looking back at her as she blushes and nods "Well, let's keep this a secret just for you and me, huh?" I ask and mess up her hair "I was going to go out and get some food for us, I thought I'd tell you before I left" Sakura says and stands up from her chair "Okay, I'll be here" I say and she leaves. I sigh before putting my head band back on and sighing before turning to Akane "It's been awhile, two months to be exact" I sigh and look down at my hands rather than at her face.

"Like Sakura side, Sasuke and Naruto are gone, they're doing some training, and now Lady Tsunade is here so Sakura will be training under her which means I'll be training by myself and going on missions either alone or with made up groups" I tell her and continue to play with my hands "Anyways, everyone's doing good... And we all miss you, it's a lot quieter again.... It's almost as if you left again" I say and feel the tears burn behind my eyes but refuse to let them fall "Wake up soon please, because I need to tell you something, I mean, I'll tell you right now but I also want to tell you this when you're awake and aware of what's going on and responsive" I say and take a deep breath before standing up, grabbing Akane's hand and look at her face "I love you" I say after taking another deep breath then plop down in my chair again and wipe my eyes, no tears fell but my cheeks burned and I needed my face to cool down before Sakura got back. A little while later Sakura comes back with a basket of apples "I"m back, Kakashi sensei" Sakura sing songs as she comes in and sits down in the seat next to mine once more. "Welcome back" I say with a small smile "Do you want me to peel an apple for you?" She asks and pulls out a kunai "No, thank you" I say before just grabbing an apple and eating it while Sakura peels one for herself.

Sometime later, a nurse comes into the room "Alright guys, I'm sorry but I'll have to kick you out now, it's time for Akane's sponge bath" She says walking into the room with all of the supplies "Can we have please a moment to say bye?" Sakura asks the nurse, she smiles and says "Okay, I'll wait in the hall way" Before leaving, once she closes the door behind her, Sakura turns to Akane and says "I promise to come back tomorrow, Akane sensei" She says and quickly gives her a kiss on the forehead then looks at me with a little blush on her face "I'm going to go train under Lady Tsunade now, see you later Kakashi sensei" Sakura tells me before leaving the room, once the door is closed again I turn to Akane and say "Wake up soon, please" Then I pull down my mask and give Akane a kiss on the forehead as well before pulling up my mask and leaving.
