Self-harm, suicide, mental illness aren't joking matters
They're real, and they happen all around you
Your best friend could be depressed, and you might never know
Until they're in the hospital for attempted suicide
Someone you see every day could be cutting themselves
And you'd never realize, until they slip up
Showing the world their skin, littered with red lines
Pay attention to every small detail
Because you never know anyone as well as you think you do
