There is nothing more liberating
Than dancing in the rain
Feeling the drops hit your face
Surrounded by cool water
Droplets caught in your eyelashes & hair
Lifting your face to the sky
Laughing and catching raindrops
Dancing is a hobby
But dancing in the rain is a gift
Nothing is more peaceful
Than dancing in the rain
Tranquility as you glide through the air
Water kissing your body
A satisfying splash
When you hit the ground
The drumming creating your music
One of nature's instruments
I can think of nothing more beautiful
Than dancing in the rain
What a curious thing
It is my hope and wish
That people continue to dance in
And laugh and sing and live in and truly feel
God's wonderful creation
Creation that could kill us all
In one fell swoop
Many beautiful things are dangerous
But none as beautiful as the rain
