Family is somewhere everyone can feel loved
It's something that keeps people close
Where there are no deep dark secrets
Family is not supposed to be terrifying
It's not supposed to be a horrible mess
It's not supposed to break into a million tiny pieces
People shouldn't have to keep secrets from family
They shouldn't have to hid from family
For fear of judgement or worse
Someone shouldn't be scared of their own family
He or she shouldn't be having nightmares
Where their family members are monsters
But things often don't happen as they should
