You didn't sleep last night, how could you when Dan Howell is that close to you?
You have an hour until your shift at the cafe so you get up and try to make yourself presentable. It's only 6 am but there is no chance you're going to get any sleep now. You brush your hair and get dressed. After you've brushed your teeth you make a dash for the door. You open it swiftly and hear a bang.
"Owwww!" Someone moaned.
"Oh my gosh I'm so bloody stupid! I'm really sorry. Let me help you!" You keep tripping on your words. Your hair covers your eyes but you reach a hand out for your victim.
'really it's ok, it's my fault I was running about like an idiot." He said.
You hear a voice from down stairs.
"Come on Dan, hurry up!"
Wait, you think. You lift him up. He laughs.
"Here." He says pushing your hair back behind your ear.
"th-thanks!" You blurt out a little bit to enthusiastically. Dan steps back a little. You cringe.
"Sorry!" You plead, "it's been a weird few days."
"you're the new girl right?"
"yeah."
"We're just next door, come round when ever. I'm Dan and he's Phil."
"I know." You mutter.
"What?" He asked.
"Oh nothing, I'm Y/N."
"It was nice meeting you," Dan giggled, "see you soon I guess."
"you too, bye then Dan!" You chuckle back.
Dan and Phil walk away together. You feel proud of yourself for fixing an awkward situation. But more importantly you met Dan. And he touched your face.. AND HE WANTS TO SEE YOU AGAIN!
