She made me happy.
She knew me better than anyone ever had. Her smile had me in a trance.
Her radiance was glowing ever time I saw her, never was she not perfect.
I know now, I was blinded by her and saw not who she really was. Behind her pretty smile and sweet dimples was a heart of steel and a bleak, grey soul.
It was another January evening, I once again wandered through the city alone.
Again, I saw her standing there, just looking around. For me? With her I had purpose. I had meaning. I had love?
She smiled and waved as always. It was as if I'd knew her forever.
I carried on walking this time determined not to talk to her. She would ruin me, she would steal my heart. Now I wish I had, because that is exactly what she did.
She caught up to me and grabbed my shoulder. Without warning she pulled me into a hug. I was reluctant but I did eventually hug her back. It felt wrong but good. She felt wrong, but I think I loved her then.
The tugged my sleeve and lead me to a bench.
Looking into her eyes hurt, but the pain was strangely pleasing.
Then, I don't know why, but... I kissed her.
She kissed back strongly, her hands pressed against the sides of my head keeping my lips on hers.
We exchanged numbers and spoke every day and met up all the time.
That's how I got over Y/N.
Walking home was quiet and lonely.
Seeing Dan was even worse.
We were both in love, so why was he so happy?
I was miserable, for no reason at all.
She controlled me, like a puppet.
I stopped talking to my family and persuaded her to let me carry on seeing Dan, Y/N and the others. It wasn't easy.
Before we left for Hawaii, Elise got very annoyed.
She accused me of cheating and talking to other women.
She told me to stay in London, I Refused so she slapped me.
Over and over.
She punched me and kicked me.
Because she was my 'girlfriend' I felt guilty.
I hadn't committed enough, I hadn't shown enough love, I hadn't been a good enough boyfriend.
I escaped to Hawaii and had a great time. I almost forgot about what I was coming home to.
Elise had met my outside the airport in secret.
"Stay away from that skank, I don't want you near her." She yelled.
"Y/N? No I can't, she's my bestfriend. Come on Elise, I can't cut myself away from everyone I know just because you don't like them. I have a life!" I reply.
She huffs away. On the way into the taxi she turned to me and said, "I can't be with you, you're too stubborn."
She turned it all around on me!
I guess I was right to want to avoid her.
Behind those icy blue eyes is a heart just as cold.
She scoffed in annoyance and left me standing alone.
She continues to text me, begging for forgiveness.
I ignore her, my videos returned to their usual content. Fans noticed my change of mood and began tweeting and commenting. I want to keep Elise under the carpet out of mind.
I need to move on.
For some reason she's still in my head, she'll be gone soon. I know that for certain.
Now I'm going to film a new video with Y/N.
"Hey guys, so I'm here with Y/N..." I began.
She waved with a smile.
"I've been thinking about lemons... Stay with me... So with the seven second challenge you had to be fast, with the seven lemon challenge you have to be even faster. Because if you fail you need to take a bite out of a lemon... Oh god..." I continue.
"I'd just like to point out, we haven't eaten lunch yet so we're super hungry. This will destroy our throats. Rip taste buds!" Y/N laughs.
"Say the alphabet backwards!" I laugh.
"Z,Y,X,W,V,U,T,S,R,Q,P,O,N... Shit..." She said.
"Fail!" I giggle.
"You spork, okay then. Pass the lemon!" She sighs.
She frowns and reluctantly takes a bite out of the lemon.
"Argh!" She squirms.
You're both hysterically laughing.
Now you can get over her.
Live your own life again.
