*Narrator*
You draw back your curtains and breathe in heavily. Cold, frosty air floods into your lungs. You cross off April second and stare at your calendar blankly.
April has to be a better month, the start of something good. Filming was fun, it always is. It's as if you're talking to close friends, a majority of them understand you, the minority don't. It doesn't bother you.
Zoe calls, "Are you free Y/N? Alfie and Marcus have gone to film."
"Sure, when?" You ask.
"Lunch maybe, then shopping?"
You agree and get ready quickly.
Rushing out of the door you bump into Dan.
"Hey-beautiful!" He awkwardly said so fast the words almost meld together.
You kiss his cheek and run down the stairs.
In the distance Zoe is sitting on a bench, absorbed in a book. You wave at her, she stands up and runs to you.
You are engulfed into an embrace. Her friendly hug is so comforting, you melt like candle wax into her small arms.
Pulling away slowly, looking over her shoulder you see a beautiful shop and ask to go inside.
Wooden crates, attacked high, filled with soaps of all colours, shapes and scents.
You pick up a pastel blue bar and lift it to your nose; beautiful, delicate sweet pea and honeysuckle. A red, rose shaped bath bomb catches your eye.
You can smell: Mint, clementine, ginger, coconut, vanilla, lavender and citrus aromas. Walking around the shop you feel as though you've been transported to a field of flowers; meadows such as the one you all visited in march, happy, spring memories come flooding back.
You smile to yourself and hum happy songs.
"Cheerful much?" Zoe laughed.
"Oh don't mind me, I'm just... Remembering..." You say in a daze.
Now there's only one thing on your mind.
Dan.
You're becoming agitated, you really want to see Dan.
"Remembering, Dan?" Zoe asked curiously.
You blush and smile at the ground.
"You are! Cute!" She sang.
Zoe points out shop after shop, shoeing you the ins and outs of the city.
"Have you been there?" She asks politely.
You shake your head before she takes you by the arm and whisks you away.
*Dan's POV*
"Dan, come on! Get in the zone! You're usually really competitive!" Phil nags.
You shrug and frown. You rest your face in your hands and sigh.
"You're still depressed about Y/N's mum aren't you?" He asks quietly, concerned.
You shrug again.
He shuffles closer and hug you. You reluctantly hug him back.
"It wasn't you, how long before you understand that. It was... Him... Okay?" He says seriously.
You nod and smile a weak but sincere half smile.
He pushes your shoulder when you win.
"That's not fair!" He whines.
"You said to 'get in the zone'!" You point out, lifting a finger.
"Oh," Phil's phone rang, " Yeah, no, sure. Yes, that's okay. Give me five minutes, I'll be there. Bye."
"who's that?" You ask.
"Peej, he needs a hand. I'll be back later." He pulls on his space coat and left.
Just as he left, Y/N arrived.
Your eyes lit up, as did hers.
She dropped her bag and you stood up.
You ran for each other and interlocked your bodies in a warm, strong embrace.
Your fingers ran down her back and your kisses ran up her neck.
Her hands were in your hair, tugging gently.
You fell in a heap onto the bed, a writhing mass of heat and sweat.
Her legs wrapped round yours, her hands clinging onto your back, afraid to let go.
Her grip tightened on your shoulders as your bodies collided...
