Eventually, after an abundance of arguing, and myself shouting, "I will stop this car!" at Sam and Bucky, the yellow bug pulled to a stop on the second to last level of the parking garage at one of Berlin's airports.

A white van with tinted windows was two spots away. The passenger side window fell. Wanda saw me, her eyes widened. She ignored Barton's warning calls and exited the car eagerly.

I did the same. I met her in the middle, engulfing her in a tight hug.

"Wanda, are you all right?" I breathed.

"I am now," she chuckled, pulling away, "Are you? Clint said Stark--"

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it," I cut in. I smiled. She believed it.

"Clint," greeted Steve, shaking his hand firmly, "You know I wouldn't have called if I don't have any other choice."

"Hey, man, you're doing me a favor," insisted Barton.

"Thanks for having my back," said Steve, meeting Wanda's eyes, "You okay?"

Wanda spared an amused glance to Barton. "It was time to get off my ass."

"How about our other recruit?" asked Steve.

"He's ready to go," said Barton, spinning to bang on the back door.

Scott Lang, reclined uncomfortably across the back seats, was startled awake by the van door loudly sliding open. Eyes squinted, he tried to exit the van. He was rather wobbly.

Barron raised his brow. "Had to put a little coffee in him, but he should be good," he insisted.

"What time zone is this?" yawned Scott. He rubbed his eyes. He widened them significantly. "Captain America."

"Mr. Lang," said Steve, outstretching his hand.

"It's an honor," said Scott, wiggling his hand roughly, "I'm shaking your hand too long," he then noticed, quickly pulling back his hand, "Wow, this is awesome."

A look between the two cars caused him to do a double take, when he noticed Wanda. "Oh, I know you, too, you're great," he told her.

Scott returned to Steve. Amazed, he gently touched his chest, then poked at his biceps. "Jeez... Wow, look, I want to say: I know you know a lot of super people, so thinks for thanking of me," he told Steve generously.

Steve tried to hide his smile.

Scott didn't notice. He peered around him, waving at Sam and I. "Hey, guys!"

"What's up, Tic-Tac?" greeted Sam.

"Look, uh, what happened last time--" he tried to explain.

"It was a great audition, but it'll never pass," said Sam, folding his arms across his chest.

Scott's opened mouth closed. He remained confused, but shook his head, deciding to accept it.

"He tell you what we're up against?" asked Steve.

"Something about psycho assassin's?" recalled Scott.

"We're outside the law on this one. If you come with us, you're a wanted man," warned Steve.

Scott gave a quiet sigh, shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah, well, what else is new?"

"We should get moving," called Barnes, from his spot behind the yellow bug.

"I've got a helicopter lined up," said Barton.

A siren took over the attention. Yellow lights mounted within the parking garage began to flash on and off. A woman's soothing voice spoke.
