Coincidentally, I arrived at the same time as Thor.

I flipped my portal vertically above the Wakanda ground. I dropped to the grass and stood, only to immediately scream when lightning struck dangerously close to me. I whipped my head to the right and saw the God of Thunder, lightning exploding from his being.

Thor showed up in an explosion of the rainbow, accompanied by a raccoon perched on his shoulder and a tree a quarter of his height that walked on two legs. While he showed up fashionably, a spectacle, I had appeared at the same time, much more boring.

"Bring me Thanos!" he shouted, running at the opened slit in the Wakandan barrier. He lifted off the ground and touched down about a mile away from where we had landed together, and exploded lightning that killed dozens of the rabid monster dogs that I assumed were Thanos's army.

"What the hell?" I sighed.

Thor cleared the general surrounding area of the rabid dogs. I stood alone, and then I noticed Bucky Barnes not too far away from me, pushing off remains of rabid dog from him.

I jumped through a portal to stand in front of him. I held a hand close to my chest then swirled my other above it, pushing it in front of Bucky and I. I watched the rabid dogs smash against my shield and burn when they touched it.

"Up, Buck, cmon!" I shouted.

He picked up his gun and started to fire at the beasts when they started to circle around my shield. I dropped it and threw discs every which way. Barnes and I ended back to back, him firing, and me throwing burning discs of green from my hands. They sliced directly through the dogs and yet they still twitched. I opened portals in between to redirect the dogs. My hands twisted, protecting Bucky and I, until I was exhausted of defending and I decided it was time to offend.

"Buck, you trust me?" I panted.

He glanced my way and grunted, "Yeah, why?"

"Get behind me," I said quickly.

"Why?"

I raised my finger to him and stood tall, strong. I took a deep breath. I gathered my hands, circling them in front of my chest, and when the barrier of dogs came hurling at Bucky and I, too close for comfort, I pushed my hands out, sending a wave of green energy towering over my head and from my body that swirled like a wave through the mass of dogs and burned through all of them. I directed it carefully to avoid our allies.

"Yeah," sighed Bucky, when I had retracted my energy, and the battlefield was quiet for a moment. "I trust you."

I chuckled. I slipped the ear piece from his ear and put it into my own. I tried to be quick, concise. It was as if my help did nothing; another wave of rabid creatures were killing themselves to get through the open slit in the barrier.

"Guys, it's me, it's Clara. I have the Stone, it's safe with me, but it's not long before he takes everyone down and realizes where I've went with it. We need to destroy them, now. Where's Vision?" I asked.

"Glad you ask!" yelled Sam, flying over our heads. "Because we have a Vision situation!"

"Go," said Bucky. He was quick to tuck an arm around me and shove me, firing his gun one handed at the creature that tried to attack me. He nodded towards the city. "Find him, go,"

Our heads whipped to the ground as it began to shake. Out from the alien ships came massive rolling contraptions, abundant with spikes, hauling their way towards us. I waited for them to crash against the barrier, but whoever was piloting them knew, and proceeded to dig into the grass, the Earth, and dig themselves underneath the barrier. Once inside Wakanda, they roared into action, ruthlessly running over anything in its path.
