One Step Closer

When Steve returned into the Hangar, he was holding his shield close to his chest. Behind his frame, we noticed Tony Stark walking coyly behind him. They met us halfway, nervous, but also excited smiles on everyone's faces. Tony's return to the Compound meant one thing.

"Tony!" shouted Bruce happily.

"What's up, Big Guy?" asked Tony, smiling at him.

"So, you did it," I declared, crossing my arms.

Tony shrugged. "You presented your case like it was charity, and, you know, I have a heart for the people. I just want peace," he said, throwing up a peace sign.

Natasha grinned. She nodded at the briefcase hanging by Steve's side and asked what was in it.

"I figured out Time Travel. Fully functioning Time GPS Watches. I made a few, not sure who was going to go with us on this journey, but I can easily make more once we call in the entire team in," explained Tony. He raised his eyebrow as he looked at us. "We are calling the whole team, right?"

"We were working on it," said Natasha, nodding. "I guess we wanted to wait until we had a definitive plan, but since you're here... I'll rally them up."

"Nebula, Rocket, Rhodey," counted Steve on his fingers.

"I'm sure Carol's in deep space, right now," I guessed.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"What about Thor? Anyone heard from him?" asked Tony.

We waited for someone to say something, sharing interested looks. When no one said anything, Bruce designated himself to find Thor. He said he was in brief contact with their old friend, Valkyrie, and they had inhabited a town in Norway, renamed New Asgard, for the remainder of the Asgardians to live peacefully. He told us Rocket would probably join him.

"I can ask Rhodey about Clint," said Natasha quietly. She didn't meet any of our eyes, and she shifted uncomfortably on her feet, struggling to continue. "He's been slaughtering people, taking out gangs. He lost his entire family, I'm sure of it. But I can get him back. I know I can."

"Then you do that and you bring him here, back to us," agreed Steve softly, sending her a hopeful nod.

"Bring him home," I mumbled, agreeing.

Natasha left to the Conference Room to make the call to everyone.

"Eleven of us, hopefully. So we'll need eleven of those Watches." I had counted and told Tony.

"On it," agreed Tony.

Bruce, Steve, Scott, Tony, and I stayed in the Hangar to discuss the technicalities of our plan. We decided on using the Hangar as our home base here, as Scott's van wouldn't be big enough to travel all eleven of us at once. Tony agreed he would build a larger scale of the technology in the van, if Scott helped them to the best of his ability to recall what Hank and Hope did to achieve it.

I offered to help upgrade Scott's Quantum Realm suit and distribute them and the Watches, once they were done, or if Tony could give me the plans to create them myself. Bruce said he would help me with the suits, since he had notes about the one he threw together for Scott and wanted to make certain improvements.

Steve said when everyone was gathered, we would have a brainstorming session to decide teams, what place in time we were going to, and gather any and every bit of information we had on each Infinity Stone. The more informed we were, the better chances we had at succeeding.

When Natasha yelled over the balcony that Nebula and Rocket, and Rhodey were on their way currently, we decided to order Mexican to the Compound to feed everyone who was coming in. We set up the food, when it came, in the Conference Room.
