"Dmitri, you up?" Dean asked.
"Yeah," I sat up and stretched. Dimitri? He had his head through your window.
"Come out here real quick."
"You're not gonna ditch me here are you? If that's the case, no."
"No, I'm not. Just cmon." He stood up straight.
I sighed and got out, still wrapped in my blanket, "Hey."
"I wanna talk." I nodded and listened, "I am pissed, I'm not gonna deny it. But I think we can work it out."
"And I feel really bad about it, and I really just want us to be okay again."
"I know, and we will." He nodded and wrapped me in a hug, my head getting buried in his chest. The familiar scent drowning me.
"I really do like you, Dean."
"I really like you too."
We decided to leave town and find a simpler case to work. Sam gave us looks the whole time we were in the car, but we ignored them. Sam would probably ask Dean about it later and I didn't wanna ruin it for them. We worked an easy, one day, ghost case. I was reminded how much I hated digging up dead people, or digging in general, but we got it done.
I was surprised when we got to a hotel, and Dean got two rooms, both with queen beds, meaning that he was bunking with me tonight. I didn't mind in the slightest, but I didn't want him to be uncomfortable. When we got to our room, I let him have first shower. Sam came by and handed my some take out from some diner and left again. I set it out in the table and pointed it out to Dean when he was finally done washing himself. "You're not hungry?" He asked.
"No, I'm good. You can have it if you want."
"Nah, yours is plain." He made a disgusted face and smirked.
"You're so judgmental." I shook my head and went to bathe. When I got out, Dean was asleep. It was pretty cute, but you tried not to stare. Instead, I took a picture and hung the towel in my hair up. My phone started ringing and I didn't recognize the number. I went outside to take it, "Hello?"
"Kaylee?" The voice on the other end asked.
"Yes?"
"This is Castiel."
Oh, jolly. "Hey." I said, enthusiastically.
"I need your help."
"What for? We didn't really end on good terms, last time I saw you."
"I know. But another seal is about to be broken."
"Where? And why aren't you all over that?"
"Greybull, Wyoming. It's warded from angels, we can't do anything."
I sighed, "Alright, I'll talk to the guy's about it tomorrow."
"I thinks it's best if you don't tell Dean I called."
"I can't lie to him, Cas."
"Loyalty. It's one of your strongest characteristics. I'm not asking you to lie, just to stretch the truth."
"Thank you." I smiled weakly, "I'll talk to them about it. Don't worry. Good night."
"Good night." He said, and I hung up. Inside was much warmer than out, and sleeping next to Dean again was much better than not. So, this is happiness.

In the morning, I asked Dean to grab us some coffee, and went to Sam's room. I knocked on the door, "Mind if we talk for a minute." I called in.
Sam opened the door for me and I entered, "What about?"
"I need you to lie to Dean for me. It's nothing bad."
He gave me a look of disapproval, "What is it?"
"Castiel called last night. He said that one of the seals was about to be broken and he needs our help."
"So? I don't see the lie here."
"I don't think we should tell Dean that Cas told us. He doesn't really like him and he'll probably try to go astray."
He thought about it for a second, "Okay. Where are we headed?"
"Greybull, Wyoming. He didn't say how it was being broken, but I'm sure something weird must be happening that would shed some light."
"I'll look into it." He nodded.
"Thank you, Sam." I nodded and waved goodbye as I went back to my room.
Dean came in shortly after and handed me my coffee and a whole lotta packets of sugar, "I wasn't sure how much you wanted so," He gestured to the packets, "Have at it."
"Thanks." I offered a weak smile and emptied almost all of them into the hot liquid. "So, we have a case."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah, Greybull, Wyoming. I was talking to Sam about it this morning." I selected my words carefully. "We should head that way as soon as we can."
"What's going on there?"
"I don't know, he didn't say."
"Okay. I'll get packed up." He set down his coffee and started picking up what little he'd taken out. I did too and we were ready to go in less than ten minutes. Sam was already packed and at the car.
"So, what's in Greybull?" Dean asked Sam when he got in the driver's seat.
"Well, nobody's dying."
"And? What's weird about that?"
"They should be. One guy got shot in the heart, point blank. He's still walking and talking. Another was dying of cancer, wife pulled the plug and everything. Now they're going on a vacation for their anniversary."
"Demon deal, maybe?" He suggested.
"Yeah, maybe." Sam agreed.
We drove all day and got there about 6 pm, so we decided to eat dinner and then look around town tomorrow. I was pleased when, once again, Dean stayed in my room. I took a shower, and when I got out, he was reading the paper in bed. This looks familiar. I stood at the doorway, smiling at him.
Like that time with mom?
Yeah, good times.
"What?" Dean asked.
I broke from my thoughts, "Nothing."
"Doesn't look like it."
"Just reminds me of a thing from a long time ago." I moved from my place and took his paper from him. I folded it, placed it on the bedside table and crawled on top of him, giving him a little kiss.
"A good thing?" He smiled up at me.
"Yeah." I kissed him again.
