Max's POV:
Just like Six said, we're in Spain in no time. Time flew like a blur on the plane.
Six and I both hear it on the big, flat screen T.V hooked up in the airport; a live news report about an attack on Santa Teresa, an orphanage near a lake. Six and I look at the address on the headline on the bottom of the T.V. We both look at each other, eyes wide, and frantically run through the airport, then burst through the doors, feeling the fresh, cool air blast on our hot faces. We quickly search for directions to Santa Teresa. The moment I get it from a stranger waiting outside the airport for someone, I grab Six's wrist, pull her into an empty ally, turn us both invisibile, and fly us upwards, into the cold sky. I fly us both to Santa Teresa, where we see them- the Mogadorians.
I land Six and I safely onto the snow-covered ground and look around frantically for any signs of a Garde. I quickly notice a herd of Mogs running in one particular direction. Six and I both turn invisible and this time I'm dragging her by her wrist, and we both make our way behind the Mogs until we see a girl with long, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes who looks about seventeen years old, a small girl with auburn hair and big, brown eyes, a guy with dark brown hair standing next to the taller girl, and a guy wearing a long trench coat like what the Mogs are wearing standing next to the smaller girl.
I can tell that the oldest guy with the trench coat isn't against the other three, he's helping them, helping them kill the Mogs. I let go of Six but we both stay invisible.
"Let's go," I say to Six. I look next to me where she's now visible and I turn visible, too.
She pulls out a long glowing Mogadorian sword so I unsheathe mine. She looks at me with an odd look. I give her a 'What?' face.
"Why a glass sword?" She asks me, whispering. I roll my eyes and slightly smile.
"We don't have time for that. Come on, let's go kill some Mogs." I smirk, turn invisible, and rush behind the Mogs, swinging my sword in all directions, turning Mogs into piles of ash on the ground.
Soon, all the Mogs are killed, but one of the people helping kill the Mogs are in the lake, nearly drowning. My eyes are wide as the seventeen year old girl dives after him. I see her pendant flying behind her neck, still clipped around it, as she dives into the cold blue lake.
I'm a daughter of Poseidon, the God of the sea and water. I can stop this.
I thrust my hands forward, palms pointing towards the lake. I concentrate, realizing that I turn visible once again, but I don't care. It's my job to protect people, isn't it?
I shove my arms up and both people, the boy and the girl, are flying upwards on two huge waves I create. I carefully and slowly settle them on the ground next to the lake and the tall man with the trench coat and the small girl with the auburn hair rush over to them, kneeling next to them to see if they're okay.
The boy is unconscious. I sigh, knowing this is going to take a lot of explaining, but once again I don't care. I run to them, kneeling next to the boy. The seventeen year old girl looks at me with a puzzled face. I hold my hand out for her to shake.
"You're a Garde. I can tell from your pendant. So am I. I'm Number Two," I introduce myself, which takes her aback. I guess she doesn't know that I've been resurrected.
"Yes, I'm alive, get over it," I say bluntly, then turn back to the boy. I concentrate again, then take all the water stuck in the boy's lungs and take it all out, allowing him to breathe again. He gasps and coughs, sitting up with his eyes wide. He gets up and stares at all of us. The tallest girl hugs him and he automatically hugs back, then the girl turns to me.
"How'd you do that?" She asks.
I shrug my shoulders, though I know I have to lie. I can't tell her that I'm the daughter of the Greek sea God. She'll think I'm crazy and throw me into the lake herself, which really wouldn't do any good.
"Water control legacy," I respond with.
"Number Two, huh?" She asks and I nod my head yes. "I'm Number Seven, but you can call me Marina. This is my friend, Hector. This is Ella, Number Ten, and her Cêpan, Crayton." She points to each one, the boy who was drowning being Hector, the smallest girl being Ella, and the tall man with the trench coat being Crayton, the Cêpan.
Wait, did she just say Number Ten? There is no Number Ten, I only remember nine of us coming from Lorien.
"Wait, Number Ten?" I ask, looking from Marina to Ella.
Marina chuckles nervously. "Yeah..." She trails off, looking at Ella for help.
Ella steps in and smiles at me sweetly. "I came from another ship that came from Lorien, a second ship, that was full of these shape-shifting things..." Ella explains.
"Chimærae," I finish for her.
"Yeah," she confirms.
"This will probably be a good time to say that you two aren't the only Garde we found." I smirk.
"Really? What numbers are they? And who's 'we'?" Marina asks, obvious excitement in her voice.
"I'm with Number Six. Number Four and the son of a human greeter are at a Mogadorian base in West Virginia, retrieving a stolen chest," I explain, then look towards where Six is and wave her over. She smiles and head towards us. I introduce her to everyone and explain what I know about Ella.
"Well then, we should get going. I have an idea of where another Garde is," Crayton tells us all and we nod our heads in agreement, excitement sparking inside me. Another Garde? At this point, we're just living off of sheer luck. We all get up and start walking until Marina stops Hector from walking any further.
"Hector, I think you should stay here. This is a really dangerous war we're fighting here, and I don't want you to get involved more than you already are. Do me a favor and stay here and look after your mother, please?" Marina begs Hector. Hector thinks for a moment before responding.
Hector sighs. "Fine, I'll stay here. But please, Marina, stay alive, for me. For Adelina. Good luck." Hector plants a quick peck on her cheek before smiling and walking away. I slightly smile, but then it disappears as it reminds me of Leo, and how much I miss him and the others already.
Marina stays there for a moment, shocked at what just happened, then snaps back to reality and starts following Six.
Then I snap back to reality, and a thought, or, more of a question, pops into my head.
How are we going to get all of these people to the airport?

I know that Hector Ricardo was supposed to die from a piken but since Six and Max are there, things changed a bit. Anyways, peace out!
