Prologue

It's 500 years in the future for America. States have now turned into provinces, and the government has turned into a Dictatorship. No one likes this idea, but no one has the guts to stand up to the government. With a new future comes new technology, including a variety of robots. Some are more intricate than others. Then one day, a beautiful new invention comes along, the robo-human. It's half human and half robot and its soul purpose is to work for the government. With this new invention comes implications, though. The life of Jordan is now born, or well, invented.

Lia Coleman is turning 18, and is about to graduate high school and struggle with the rest of middle class to find work. She's the oldest of her three younger sisters, Peyton, Kara, and Gracie Coleman. You see, the Coleman's parents died two years ago, and Lia is devoting her existence to raise her sisters to live a normal life, even if it means giving up her life-long goal of going to college. With the government targeting her family though, things become a bit harsh.

And that's where Jordan comes in.
