Seperation

After lunch, I walked Allison to her classes. I told her a couple jokes to make her laugh, even managed to crack myself up a few times.

Once the day was over, I walked Allison to her house.

She didn't live far from school, so I didn't mind leaving my bike on school grounds. Once we reached her house, I walked her to her front door.

''Hope you had a good day.. Ugh I mean a good first day.'' I said mumbling on my words like an idiot.

''Yeah, I had fun. Thanks for helping me... You know around the classes.'' Like me, she messed up on her words.

My heart kept racing, I felt like it was about to explode. I waved bye and walked away, but once I heard her jiggle her doorknob, I turned around and uttered out some words.

''You know there's a new movie coming out Saturday. Would you like to go see it... you know with me?'' Again messing up my words.

She smiled and with her soft gentle voice said '' Sure, I'd like that''

Once she entered her house, I turned around and walked home. I was so excited and nearly fell in a puddle.

However, my happiness was short lived once I got home. There were police cars around my house.

''God, what now?'' I was worried and raced to find my mom.

I saw my mom, who had her face and eyes red, along with a guy in a suit.

''But why? Why do you want to take away my little boy?'' My mom cried with pain.

The business man had a cold and stern look on his face, he turned at me and spoke in a cold voice.

'' You Alex Adrian Johnson?''

I hesistated to speak, '' Yeah, who wants to know?''

'' Agent Joseph, I'm with the city court of New York. Come with me kid, your being placed in an orphanage.'' He reached for my arm, but I shoved him off.

'' I'm not going anywhere with you, got that?''

'' I'm not asking.''

He grabbed my hand tightly, and shoved me a police car.

'' What the hell is going on?'' I demanded to know.

Another man dressed like Joseph responded,'' The court decided your mom is incapable of handling you by herself, and has decided to remove you from her custody.''

''What the hell does that mean?''

''It means your mom no longer has any juridisction over you, you now belong to New York's Orphanage for Abandoned Boys''

Joseph came in and speaked briefly,'' Let him go, city protocols say we have to let him say his goodbyes and let him pack.''

They literally threw me out of the car. And said they'll be back for me Saturday morning.

I ran to my mom and hugged her. I begged her to tell me what was going on, but she was just as confused as me.

She went inside, crying. I stood outside, thinking.

''But... I have a date saturday.''
