''Who are you?'' I asked the man.

His old, wrinkled face showed an expression of amusement and delight. A weird expression that only deepened my confusion.

''My name is Donovan. I am the director of BlackWing.'' He spoke with a flat, cold voice. Very commanding, no doubt he was the one main banana.

"I'm sure you have many questions, and if you follow out commands, you will have both your answers you so desperately seek and your life back.'' He only smiled more, his wrinkles only defining his pleased expression.

''What is this?''

He turned to face the blank wall, which soon turned a dull gray before being brighten by color to show me a film.

''Around the time of World War II, it became clear to the American government we would require more advanced weaponry, including guns and of course, soldiers. President Truman passed a secret document to the Navy to begin experimention to develop a super drug to enhance our soldiers' strength.''

I tried to get some logic out of this, but failed to find the link that connected this information to my father.

''I'm sure right now you're trying to decode all the pieces, well I'm getting to that. The project was called Project: HERCULE. The project was a severe disaster. After the failure, the government discarded all information of our drugs and the history of HERCULE, sentenced to be turned to ash and forgotten by the eyes of any human being. However, even after the war was won, we still realized we would need more firepower to... Prevent any future disasters.''

''You decided to try again?'' This was the only piece of logic I managed to find. It would make sense that they would turn to a precedent to base a new drug on.

''In a way, yes. One of our veteran scientist was lucky enough to recall the formula for the HERCULE drug, however since the... Unfortunate accident, we knew that Congress wouldn't pass the bill to start the new drug.''

''BlackWing. You renamed the project name, so it would appear to be new, original project so Congress wouldn't know you were still using the old drug.''

His low chuckle filled the quiet room. ''You truly are like your father, unfortunately thatt won't save you.''

''Then why don't you just get to the point?''

''The new drug was a success on the primative test subjects. Do you know the company New Tech?''

I was aware. It was two years ago that I heard that a new underdog company had started to make a dent on every major corporation. Soon enough, New Tech had become one of the most rich, and controlling company in the world, not just America. Some people actually thinking New Tech could replace Congress due to their rising controll in political affairs.

''New Tech's medical department offered to help us further improve our drug and give us a more reliable test area. In return, HER-13. the new super drug, was developed. And the new test subjects, criminals sentenced to death, that way if they died..''

''You wouldn't take the blame, they would have just been..'' His pleased expression returned, he was obviously glad I was starting to figure this out on my own.

''Your father, however, saw that, in someways, our plans were corrupted.''

Now I knew, that's what happened.

My father, a man who only saw the positive things in life, and  who protected others, was killed because he was tryiing to do the same thing he always did. He wanted to protect human beings, even those who had a checkered past like the crooks he caught.

''I assume I don't need to explain anymore.''

I hung my head, whose weight now became too much for my shoulders to support. ''No more.''

''Good, release him.''

Two men, both dressed with dark boots and a dark gray jumpsuit un-cuffed me.

''You may leave our premises, after a few procedures. I'm afraid we still need to perfect the HER-13 drug.''

The two men grabbed my arms, restraining me.

''Take him to the Black Room.'' Donovan spoke, whose voice suddenly turned grim and menacing.

Oh Shit. What now?
