This made no sense.
According to my map, I was in the right place. But everything around me was just a thick, dense forest with a black road ahead that seemed to go on forever.
Could I have passed my location? Did I waste my time for nothing? Is BlackWing even real?
Out the thick woods stepped out a man. Somewhere between his 30s wearing crisp jeans, a pair of boots and a flannel shirt along with a khaki jacket.
''Excuse me sir?'' He turned to face me with a puzzled look.
''Yes?'' He spoke with a flat, almost lifeless tone of voice.
I didn't know what to say. ''Do you know where I could find a building?''
He raised his eyebrow in question. Obviously, I had asked a stupid question. So I decided to be more straight forward.
''BlackWing?'' The man then turned into a face of shocked and terror, but quickly replied.'' Young man, I think you're lost. Perhaps you should return home.''
Something caught my eye. The trees.
''You're hiding something, aren't you?''
''Pardon?'' The man suddenly grew a creepy smile. But I kept my face plain and stern.
''The trees. It's winter here. Those tress are bright green. Trees aren't green in winter, at least not here in Canada.''
''Young man, I think you're delusional. Perhaps you should leave.''
More logic came to my head. ''The snow is melted and the soil is clean. Now I'm gonna ask nicely. Who are you and what are you hiding?''
A brief moment of silence came. Soon the man produced a black baton and proceeded to attack me.
''WHAT THE HELL?'' I managed to duck into the wall just as he passed by me.
But I wasn't quick enough. I felt something surging through my spine, a large pain.
I passed out onto the black asphalt. I passed the man reloading his tazer before shooting me again.
I woke up.
The bright light stunned my eye. The white room smelled clean, no stains or anything. I looked down my clothes, torn, dirty, and all bloody. Even though I couldn’t see my face, I felt blood falling from my nose. The door seemingly pop out of nowhere and a man wearing a black suit came in. ‘’you know too much Alex, I’m afraid we can’t let you leave.’’ Alex, that name meant nothing to me.
''Where am I?''
''You're where you wanted to be?''
I looked up to see an man, with a shiny head and a black powersuit and an evil smile.
''Welcome to BlackWing.''
