I kept going down the long dirt road. Well barely dirt road, the dirt was saturated with water and froze in the cold weather, now it was an ice road. My bike was having trouble gripping the icy road, it kept sliding back and forth and side to side. I hit a u-turn, I tried to turn quickly and applied the brakes. Didn't help.
I flew in the air and hit my head with a sharp rock. I stood up and tried to get back on my bike, but I was lucky enough to even stand. I collasped back on my knees.
I felt the blood drip slowly down my forehead and onto Jose's leather jacket. I felt cold. The snow kept piling up on top of me, burying me. I kept trying to stand up, I'm not gonna die like this, I made her a promise.
I fell on my back, shivering, I reached into my pocket and pulled out her picture. ''Allison.'' I spoke in a raspy voice.
My eyelids felt heavy, I was sleepy. ''Allison, I'm....'' I fell asleep. ''Sorry.''
I woke up. I was in a field, how did the snow melt so fast? I looked around, I couldn't find my bike.
I heard my name being called out, it was a familiar voice.
''Allison!'' I called out into the distance.
I saw her running towards me, I ran towards her. I was happy, I was back with Allison. I picked her up, and spinned her around, holding her tightly.
''I missed you, I missed you so much.'' I held her tight in my arms, I didn't wanna let go of her.
''I missed you too.''
I couldn't help myself, I kissed her deeply. Her lips as soft as I remember, and warm.
We laid in the field, with my arm around her. It was to good to be true.
I looked into her eyes, her beautiful hazel eyes. We laid there for a while, she eventually fell asleep in my arms, so I held her tightly.
''You have no idea how much I missed you.'' I stroke her hair, she was asleep and she probably couldn't hear me, but still. ''I'm sorry I left you. I had no choice....'' I couldn't think of what to say. In her sleep, she looked like an angel. A beautiful angel, the sun setting gave her a golden aura around her.
''I never stop thinking about you, Allison.''
She smiled, I didn't know if she was aware of what I said. '' I love you, Allison.''
She opened her eyes and kissed me. ''I love you too.''
I woke up. It was a dream, a beautiful dream. I kicked the snow in frustration, I wanted the dream to be real so bad. I wanted to have Allison back in my arms. Even if it was only for a second.
A tear rolled down my cheek. I looked for her photo, I couldn't find it.
I stood up and walked to my bike. I looked around one more time.
''I love you Allison. I'm in love with you.''
I hopped on my bike and rode off.
This was just one more reason I had to do this. Once I get back home, I can be with Allison, hold her in my arms.
I loved her with all my heart.
