There's a question that Libra keeps asking herself: Why do I keep trying when it seems like the other person simply don't care at all?

Taurus took a shot before answering the rhetorical question of her friend. "I don't know," she looked at Libra, a bit comical because of her now ruddy face, "... maybe because you," she jabbed at her chest, "are so optimistic about EVERY BODY. Which is kind of foolish if you'll ask me."

Taurus, just like Libra, wants everyone to be happy but she's not the type who will wallow in misery for too long. She knows a detestable person when she meets one, unlike Libra who always wants to save everyone from their own demons.

"Because everyone deserves someone who will listen! You of all —"

Taurus cuts her sentence, "NO! Some people are just losers beyond repair. And you need to know who's hopeless and who needs help."

Libra gave Taurus a dreary look. "We're all hopeless until someone cares to show us hope, Tau. You know that."

Taurus took a shot again, almost angrily. She doesn't want to talk about her past — even if she's drunk. "Yeah, everyone's nice! You just have to look deep inside them," she said sarcastically. "But obviously, you're way past rummaging their body and you have to realize that sometimes no matter how hard you look everywhere just to find their heart, sometimes... you'll find it nowhere," she paused then glanced up at Libra with glinted eyes, "Why? Because they don't want you to take a peek."

She exhaled heavily and flashed a weak smile. "So don't try too hard. You can't live your life for other people, you've got to do what's right for you. Know your worth, even if it hurts some people you love."
