                I stood staring at him.

“You mean… like a…” I didn’t even get a chance to finish my statement before Luke tackled me to the ground.

“WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? BED EMPTY, NO NOTE, CAR GONE?! YOU COULD HAVE DIED, YOU COULD HAVE BEEN SEEN!” He screamed in my face.

I looked at his face and laughed. “Two problems with your theory, Mrs. Weasley.” He glared. “One: We live IN A VAN. Two: We don’t have a car.” I giggled and heard Ben chuckling.

“AND YOU!” Luke turned on Ben, just realizing he was still standing there. “How DARE you take her without telling anyone!”

Ivy hopped out of the van, a lit cigarette in hand. “Lucas, lay off, will ya? She’s a big girl, and Ben didn’t hurt her.” She looked straight at Ben, her green eyes making a statement all their own.

Ben smiled. “So, about that date?” He said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

“Absolutely not.” Gage said, coming out of the trailer. “I won’t let her.”

I glared at him. “Good thing he wasn’t asking YOU, Gage!” My words were laced with venom.

“Go back to your bus.” Gage spat.

Ben, slightly taking offence to Gage’s harsh words, turned to leave.

“Ben, you don’t have to go. Gage is just being a butthurt asshole.” He laughed lightly.

“No, I’d probably better go. Who knows what kind of trouble the boys can get in without me there.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow.” He pulled out his phone and typed away, and soon, my phone was buzzing. When did he get my number?

‘Hey, pretty girl. Would you consider a date with a dashing Brit?’

I laughed.  I typed back: ‘Depends on what that dashing Brit has planned.’

IVY’S POV

I could hear Gage and Alex screaming at each other from five miles away. I was pretty sure they kept all the other bands awake because after a while I looked up to see Bret Von Dehl looking around the trailer, looking for the cause of the commotion. He looked rather sleepy.

“Hey.” I said, handing Jesse a cigarette and lighting another for me. The whole situation and stress between the band members was really starting to get to me.

He spun and looked at me, his Misfits blankets following him. “What the hell is going on?” He asked rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

“Gage and Alex. They’ve been at it for hours.” Jesse replied for me while I took a drag. He sighed.

“It’s over a boy, isn’t it? That Ben Bruce guy?” We nodded. He grinned. “Kids.” He laughed lightly.

All of the sudden, Danny rounded the trailer.

“Hey, you assholes wouldn’t want to keep that shit down would you?” He was livid. “Some of us REALLY would appreciate some sleep. We’re parked five buses away and I can STILL hear you both over my music!” The silence that followed shocked me. It was rare that someone could get Gage to be quiet, but it was downright impossible to get Alex to shut up once she started her ‘steamroller’.  He came around the trailer. “Good night, Jesse, Bret. G’night, lovely lady.” He kissed my hand and made his way back to the huge bus.

“Wipe that stupid fucking grin off your face.” Alex growled grabbing a cigarette and retreating to the back of the van.

ALEX’S POV

I just want to sleep. God damn. I grumbled and rolled onto my side. This was not working. I pulled out my phone and sent Ben a text.

‘Gage says I can’t go unless the rest of the band goes.’
