Bear POV

All of the boys were on individual jobs and then everyone else were at their jobs. Eleanor, Amelia, Birdy, and I were staying with the eight kids. Birdy and I left to get everyone lunch down the street.

Amelia POV

They had left to get all of our lunch as we hear a knock at the door. Eleanor walks over to the door to be backed up my someone. A man with a mask and gun pointed at us says "We want all of the children. Walk down to the parking lot with us and give them over without a fight." I put Stefan, Ana, and Isabella in the bathroom. The twins, Diana, Valerie, and Peter were laying on the bed or in our arms. I was able to hand the twins, Valerie, Peter to the other kids. Eleanor had Diana in her arms as the gun was pointed at the baby's head. She walked all the way back to me. We hand Diana to the other kids as we block the door. Eleanor tries to grab him as he slaps her across the face and flies across the room to hit her head. I'm the only thing standing in his way. He grabbed me by hair "I want you to tell the rest of your family, if they don't do what I say then a child dies. If the task at hand is done, one child is brought back safely." He threw me down by Eleanor as my head hit the counter top and I blacked out.

I don't remember anything after that. I wake up to hearing machines in the room. I see the white ceiling tiles as I look over to see Matt sleeping on the couch in the hospital room. "Matt" He woke at the sound of my voice "Sweetheart, I thought you were done for." He kissed me as I remember the kids. "Where are the kids?" "They were taken." "All of them?" He shook his head yes as I put my head down and cried. "It wasn't your fault." "Yes it is, I was supposed to protect them. Is Eleanor okay?" "I'm fine." I look over to see her in a hospital gown with Bam helping her walk. She was pushing her IV bag pole. "The kids were taken. I didn't recognize him from anywhere." "He could have been the same person who had hurt Lacy." We all agreed as we decided we need sleep after a day like today.

Matt POV

I woke in the middle of the night to find a note pinned to Amelia gown. "If you want your daughter back, you must complete this task. Go to Benaroya Hall and look underneath the chairs to find the next clue. On one side it will tell you the next step and the other side will have a rose with thorns drawn on the paper. You have 2 hours to complete this step as you leave the hospital room." I didn't want to leave her alone but I needed to help our little girl. Isabella is probably very scared. I take one last look at my wife and walk out the door. My time has started.

At three in the morning there was tons of traffic. The hall was all the way across town. It took me an hour and half to make it there. I tried every door and then the last one was unlocked. I run inside to the lobby to see the light above a door and I could see the stage. I run to the stage and jumped on it. There were at least 60 chairs. Then a voice come over the sound system. "It will be in the Woodwind section." "Where is the woodwind section?" Then it repeated itself like a recording. I didn't know where to start. I think I remember Lacy talking about the orchestra a few days ago. She had a picture in front of us. They sit in front of the conductor two rows back. I get through to find a piece of paper with a rose on it. I turn it over to see "You figured it out. A flute player would sit here. Go to the third dressing room on the left to find the next clue. You have one minute to find it. Time starts now." I race out of the chairs to find a hallway. I go to the third room to find at box. I open the box to find a key with a note attached. "If you can find the room in this building that matches that key. She will be inside that room. There are 100 doors with locks, you have an hour to find her or she will be found dead."

I race to check each room. I tried any door I could find. Over the intercom there was a countdown. I was getting close to the end of my time when I started calling her name, maybe she would answer me. "Isabella! Isabella! It's daddy and I need to find you. Can you hear me?" In the last thirty seconds I hear a banging on a door, I hear her. "There is smoke in the room and the man said it was going to kill me. Daddy, help me!" Her voice kept getting louder as I finally found it. "5, 4, 3,2, 1." I opened the door in time to close it back. I took her in my arms and I just held her. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" "I'm okay daddy. He just scared me. Where is mommy and Aunt Eleanor?" "They are at the hospital because the bad man hurt them. Let's get you something to eat and then off the bed." I carry her the entire time until we make it back to hospital.
