A Storm is Coming

Charlotte POV

We pulled into the dock in Hoonah as the sun has completely gone done. Bear tied the boat to the dock as I grabbed the overnight bag. I don't know what is in it but the girls packed it for us. I had saved some money for the clothes that would help with tonight festivities. I walk up the ramp to the street as we walk to the motel. It was looking out on to the ocean. The lady checked us in and she gave her congratulations. She also told us we were to only ones staying at the motel. He looked over at me as I blushed. She gave us our room key and we raced to the room. He opened the door for me as he picked me up to carry me over the threshold. He sat me down as we looked over the room. They had put roses on the bed with chocolate covered strawberries. "We will enjoy those later." Then he kissed me. I was pushed up against the wall. We didn't want to stop. He kissed my neck as I leaned my head back. He pulled my pants down along with his as he took me on the wall. We didn't even make it to the bed. I have been needed this for a while. We finished as he looked in the eyes. "I love you." "I love you too." "Why don't we take a shower and then enjoy the strawberries."

He sat me down as I tried to regained composure. My legs were noodles. We go to the shower and clean ourselves. All of the touches were loving not sexual. We wanted to enjoy this night.

Bear POV

She is so beautiful. She was finally my wife. Now, we had forever together. We step out of the shower and dry off. "I have a surprise for you." "You do?" "Yes, I just need a few minutes." "I'll be waiting." I stepped out as I grabbed our bag. She came out and grabbed it from me. She took something out and then walked back into the bathroom. She was naked when she came out. Man, my wife is hot. I put my comfy pants on without underwear. I needed to be prepared for anything. I bring the pan of the strawberries to the bed. Then the door opened and I could see her silhouette in the light. She turned off the bathroom light and walked towards the bed. I had turned on the lamps on each side of the bed. I see she had nice gown that showed a lot of cleavage. It was black with pink lace. I could see she was also wearing silk panties. She walked towards me trying to be sexy. Then she couldn't keep a straight face and started laughing. I couldn't keep it either. She came over to bed as she laid on her back and I was laying on my side that was facing her. She grabbed the first strawberry and she took a bite. It was hot watching her take a bite. Then she fed it to me. She giggled. "I want you to know that I'm very happy and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." I leaned down to kiss her. I put my hand on her waist. We finished the strawberries as I set the pan aside and pulled her gown up. Then my pants and her panties were off next. I was on top of her as I entered her. She gasped at the change. We made love for the first time.

Charlotte POV

The next morning, we made our way back to Browntown. We pack our stuff as we made our way outside. We held hands as we made our way to the dock. Then we hear a high whimper. It was a puppy. It had long hair that was wet and it looked cold. Bear goes to pick him up and bring the pup into his arms. "Hey, little guy, are you lost?" He whimpered as he shook. "Do you want to take him with us?" "Yeah we need a dog companion." I took the bag as we walked down onto the dock. We put him on the boat next to the bag as we both stepped on. I take him into my arms as we take off to Browntown. We make the hour boat ride; we notice that the weather was changing for the worse. We drive into the bay as Bam was tying off the other skiff. "You guys made it back in time before the storm. Who is this guy?" He patted the dog's head. "We found him on our way back to the boat this morning." "We are trying to get the camp ready for this big storm that is coming in." We step off the skiff and make our way into town.

Gabe POV

I was helping Noah with protecting his lab. Everybody was running around getting the last minute things down. Each family was going to say in their homes as the storm passed. It said it would bring rain, snow, and ice with high winds. We got it secure as we made our way home. I bring the chairs from the porch inside and I blocked the door. Grace was covering the windows and securing the cabinets. The kids were playing in our bedroom. I had brought their beds in there to keep them close. I could hear the wind against the house as it picked up. We took care of everything in the house as we brought the kids into the bedroom. I made an extra trip to bring in food and water. The thunder started and kids were getting scared. Grace was in bed with both of them. I came over and brought all three of them into my arms.

Bam POV

I was the last one outside as I raced to my cabin. Eleanor had everything secure in the house and was bringing the chairs in. I grabbed the second one as the rain started pouring. She had everything set up. The food, water, and ammo was set inside our room. We were ready for anything. Diana was asleep on a pile of blankets on the floor. I climb in the bed with her as she was getting scared. I held her tightly. I kissed her head as her body shook with fear. She had a fear of thunderstorms. I wanted her to know we were safe and we were going to get through this.

Noah POV

I was getting the lab ready as I heard the rain coming down on the tent. I make one last look to make sure I had taken care of everything. I step outside as I zip up the tent and make my way to the cabin. They close the door with a slam as the wind is blowing hard. I go to the bedroom and she is in there with the kids. I sit in the chair in the room as the other three were taking a nap. I could really see her baby bump as she laid on the bed. I knew her and I needed to discuss names.

Charlotte POV

We had stepped foot into the main house to get Ana as the dog came inside. He went up to Rainy. "Hi! What is your name?" "He doesn't have one. Do you want to name him?" "His name will be Mr. Cupcake." "Mr. Cupcake?" Bear didn't understand. "I think it is a cute name." "Can he stay with me during the storm?" "That's fine. When need to get home." "We already have the windows bordered up and the everything you will need is in the main room." "Thanks dad." He picks Ana up and he takes my hand as we run toward our cabin. The wind is blowing very hard as Bear brings me closer to him. I was scared the wind might blow me away. We finally reached the door. He pushed me inside as he gave Ana to me and tried to shut the door. I had to help him close it. We finally closed the door as the storm started.

Snowbird POV

The boys and I were sitting in the front room of the cabin. Peter was asleep as Blaine and I were sitting on opposite sides of the room. I wanted to bring him closer to me but the affair stopped me. I was beginning to trust him again but it was taking some time. If we were to be intimate right now; I would only be able to think about what he had done to her. I now that I asked him to tell me all of the details but I wanted to know. I didn't like the feeling of always worrying or overthinking something. The room was so quiet that all you hear the rain, the wind, our breathing, and our hearts beating.

Amelia POV

Isabella was an asleep on the foot of the bed as Matt was talking to the baby. He loved talking to his son. He had more time to talk to Isabella when I was pregnant with her. It was a great distraction from his father's health problems. He might be an idiot but he felt it was his responsibility to pick up the slack when his father was sick. A lot was on his shoulders as he was the oldest. The baby was kicking as Matt continued to talk to him. I could hear the storm outside as it started up like an engine. He kissed my belly as he continued to talk to him. I start falling asleep as he settled down.

The storm continued for the next 24 hours. Tree branches were falling on each house. They knew the cleanup would be a trip of its own. The weather finally started to let up as the family made their way out of their homes. Tree branches were over the entire property. All of the building stayed in tacked, even the tent. Now the work begins.
