We Are Not Alone

Lacy POV

I needed some time out of bed when the girls decide we were going on a walk. I had read most of the books on the shelf and I still had six months to go. I had recently started showing and Noah couldn't stop touching my belly. At night he would put his hand on it. Charlotte wanted a break from planning the wedding and we needed berries. Eleanor, Amelia, Charlotte, Snowbird, Grace, and I were out in the berry bushes. We had left the children with Rainy and Ami. Birdy and Amelia had their guns ready for anything. The boys were working on the school house that Charlotte wanted to use to teach the children as they got older. That was the gift she wanted from her future husband.

We had started a bucket of berries. "Hey Birdy, how are you and Blaine doing?" "We have a few problems that we need to get through but we are okay." Then Amelia spoke "Are you alright with all of it?" "To be expected. We haven't even made love in two months. That is just a dry spell right?" The Eleanor stepped in "Well every couple is different, Bam and I make love almost every night." "Is that why he hasn't had a temper in so long?" "I guess so." We all laugh. "Matt and I make love twice a week at least. We were a little wilder the beginning of marriage but not as much now." "Noah and I usually make love once a week. Most of the time he is still in his lab. I have been wanting him more lately because of the pregnancy." Then Charlotte joined in "Bear and I haven't had sex yet. We both want to but we want to wait until we are married." "That makes sense." I noticed Grace hadn't told us anything. "Grace, we all told our sex lives. Now it is your turn." "Well, if you must know, we make love whenever; wherever we want. Then I will also say that when we are in the bedroom, nothing is off the table." We are all laughing. Who knew they were kinky. That made my day. Then we hear a shot ring out across the beach.

Blaine POV

I was on standing outside of Lily's house. After her boyfriend leaves for the week and she knows he is gone, she puts a candle on her window seal to signal he is gone. Then I notice the candle. I started getting excited. I told the family that I was going into town to make deliveries and to meet more clients. I walk to her back door and find the key exactly where is was supposed to be. In a fake rock that was in a flower pot. I open the door and I see her standing in the kitchen. "Would you like some coffee to give you some energy?" "No, you keep me going." I pick her up and just lay her on the floor to get started. The first round was on her kitchen floor. Then we moved to the shower for round two. I get dressed as I got ready for the rest of my day.

Amelia POV

We all heard the gun shot as Birdy raised her gun. She pushed us in the brush to hide from the people we saw on the beach. We had to hide from the people and watch out for bears. All I could think about was Matt and Isabella. I was hoping they were alright.

Gabe POV

All of the boys were building the school house. They all heard a gunshot. We all look towards the beach. We all know the girls are out picking berries. I put down my hammer as I go to grab my gun. Bam checks the main house to tell Rainy and mom to stay inside with the kids. "Dad, maybe you should stay in there with them." He nodded his head and went inside the house. Blaine was in town and the rest of the boys would defend our land. Bam was leading us as we walked quietly to the beach. Matt, Bam, Noah, and I stood at the tree line looking out. Bear was in the tree trying to get a better look. Bam started whispering "Bear, do you see anything?" "I see a few people out by the boat." "Matt and I are going to check the boat. You guys stay here." I watch both of them make their way to the skiff. "Bear, do you want to stay as a look out as Noah and I go look for the girls." "Yes" Noah and I make our way to the to the berry vines. We don't see any of the girls. Then we hear another shot. It came from the beach. We sat along the tree line and we see four people on the boat.
