A New Mrs. Brown

Charlotte POV

"I'm getting married today." The day has finally come. I was marrying the man of my dreams. I look over at Rainy, she is still asleep. I was excited for day ahead. I sit up in bed and put my feet over the edge. I get up and put my boots on to walk to the outhouse. I walk quietly down the stairs to see nobody in the kitchen. I grab my coat off the rack and I opened the door. It was cold. I bring the coat closer to me as I walked to the outhouse. I did my business and I wanted to take a walk on the beach. I walk for a few hours and I forgot how much time had passed.

Bear POV

I was woken up my Rainy. "Bear, Charlotte is missing." I sat up quickly. "What do you mean that she is missing?" "I guess that she went for a walk this morning. Her gun is still by her bed." "She doesn't have any protection?" She shook her and I jumped out of bed. I didn't grab a shirt and made my way outside. I knew she liked her walks on the beach, maybe she had lost track of time. "She probably went on one of her beach walks." I was handed my gun as I took off towards the beach. I walked one way and Gabe walked the other. Bam and Matt was setting up for the ceremony. Rainy and Grace were getting the dresses ready. I walked and walked. I didn't see her.

Gabe POV

I walked down the beach until I could see Charlotte walking towards. "Where have you been?" "I just took a walk down the beach. What's going on?" "We thought you were lost. Bear and I are out looking for you." She started walking back to camp and into the main house. I knew she needed to get ready. Bear was running towards me. "Did you find her?" "She is in the main house." He ran up to the front door.

Bear POV

I was about to burst through the door. I was stopped my Birdy. "You can't see her before the wedding." "I want to be sure she is okay." "I'll let her stick her hand out and you can hold it." I stood there for a moment and then I saw her hand peak out of the door and took it. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine. I was just taking a walk down the beach." "You didn't have your gun." "I don't know how to use it very well." "I will teach you after our honeymoon." "We are going on a honeymoon?" "I rented a room in town for tonight. Mom and dad are going watch Ana for us." She squeezed my hand. "I love you and I'll see at the ceremony." "I love you too." I let go of her hand to have the chores done before I got ready for the wedding.

Lacy POV

I was sitting in a chair in the main house watching everyone get ready. I was due in a few months and I was starting to feel it. I feet were swollen and Noah had to massage them every night. My back was hurting and it was getting hard to sleep. The only way I was able to sleep was my lay on my left side. I was called to the makeup chair as Rainy got stared.

Amelia POV

I was trying to put my dress on but I couldn't because of my belly. I gotten a bigger size so this wouldn't happen. I start to cry but Rainy stopped me. "What's wrong, you're going to ruin my masterpiece." "I can't fit in my dress." "Yes you can. I'll get someone to help you. I have makeup all over my hands." She walks out of the room to find someone. Then Grace came in and she helped me. She slides it down over my belly and zipped. It still fit, thank goodness. I was starting to get worried. I stare out of the window to see the sun was starting to set. "The sun is setting." I yelled to the rest of the girls. Grace went to go get the boys.

Grace POV

I walked outside and the boys were in Noah's cabin. I open door to Bam helping Bear fix his tie. "Don't you all look amazing." They all turned to me as Gabe walked over to me. "Your beautiful too." "Thank you" He kissed me in front of his brothers. "Get a room." "Don't temp us or we might." "We need to get to the beach. The sun will set fast." I walk out with the rest of them behind me. We walk to the beach as we see the preacher coming in his skiff. Bear went to greet him. The boys got into place and the rest of the family came out to sit on the benches. We were all ready for her as Bam played his violin.

Bear POV

I was starting to get nervous as Bam started playing. I just couldn't wait to see her. Gabe patted my shoulder she got closer. Then she appeared as the rest of the family stood up. She was so beautiful. I started crying when she walked towards me. Her dress with full of lace that had pearls throughout. Her beautiful hair was down with flowers in it. Her makeup was just enough for her. It made her beautiful eyes pop. She finally reached me as I could see she was crying. I take both of her hands and brought her arm's length away from me. I lifted my hand to wipe her tears. Then she did the same to me. The family laughed at us as the preacher began. Then it was time for the vows.

I, Solomon Freedom Brown, take you, Charlotte Annabelle Gates, to be my wedded Wife, to have and hold for this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, as long as we both shall live.

Charlotte POV

He took my face in his hands "I love you" I didn't have time to answer as he kissed me. I was enjoying kiss as he broke it off. I smiled at him as we turned to make it back to the main house. The food had been cooked and the cake was made. The boys and Ami had helped out. We had gotten out of the way of everyone else and he kissed me hard. I was picked up by him. We made out for a few minutes until "We are going to be late for our own reception." "I just can't wait till tonight." "I know; I can't wait either but we have to be nice to the people that made this possible." He groaned as we made the rest of the way to the main cabin. We walked through the door as everyone was getting ready for dinner. The food was placed in the middle of the table as we said grace and dug in. We were feeding each other as everyone laughed at us. Ami had made two cakes for us. One was for the whole family to enjoy and then the other was small for us to cut together. I didn't ask for much during this wedding. I all I wanted was to put cake in his face. We cut the piece together and broke off a piece. I missed his mouth as it went on the side of his face. "It's on." He smeared on my face. We all laughed. We got cleaned up and changed clothes. We gabbed our overnight bag. "You ready Mrs. Brown?" "Of course, Mr. Brown." We took Blaine's skiff the for night in town. The family was there to see us off.

Ana jumped in our arms as we gave her a kiss on each cheek. She gave both of us a hug as he handed her off to Ami. Gabe and Bam helped us pull out of land. "Don't be too loud for the other people staying there. They might want to sleep." "I want her to be loud so I know I am taking care of her." Bam just shook his head. Bear started the motor and we were off. "Are you ready for the next journey in our lives?" "Since I am with you, I can do anything. That doesn't not give you permission to go extreme on me and it get you badly hurt." "My little family always comes first. I may be extreme but that doesn't mean I won't be smart." I leaned my head on his shoulder as we continued into Hoonah.

Snowbird POV

I helped the rest of the family bring their new gifts into their cabin. We knew they need some alone time. They couldn't keep their hands off of each other. I bring in the last one as Blaine comes up beside me. We were working on our marriage. We had gotten to holding hands. He was sleeping in another room for the last couple of weeks. I wanted him to sleep in the same room with me, not in the same bed, but in the same room. "Would you like to try sleeping in the same room?" "In bed with you?" "No but maybe soon." "I'll take whatever I can get." We walked to the cabin and fell asleep.
