Matt POV

It will take a while for us to make Browntown what is was before. It looked like it has been taken over by bears and nature. Amelia and I had packed all of our stuff in containers and we had many to go through. Each of us take a chair and place a container in front of us. We go through them as we are putting Isabella stuff back into her room. In a year, I would have to add on to our home for our son. She was putting plates away in the cabinet, then she stops and dropped a handful of plates. "You okay in there?" "Yea, come here the baby is moving." "Already?" "I guess." She took my hand and set it where she felt the movement. I could feel it. I bent down and kissed her stomach. Then I stand back up and place her on the counter. "Woah, where did that come from?" "Can't I just love on my wife?" "Yes but someone could walk in on us." "So?" She didn't have to answer as I kissed her. I could hear someone coming up the steps but I didn't want to turn away. The door opened and there was Bam. "Come on, can I not have some time with my wife?" "We are having a bonfire to burn all of the stuff we lost." I put my hands on her thigh as I helped her down. I grab her hand as we make our way to the bonfire.

Lacy POV

I knew Noah had told me to stay put but I can't stay in bed for that long. I walked into our front room and then out the door. I made it down the stairs and then he spotted me. "What did I say about getting out of bed?" "I was playing with my thumbs and I wanted to be with you guys." "No, back to bed." He led my back to the house and into bed. He got me under the covers and handed me a book. "You can finally read the books you have been wanting to read for the last few months. It's one of your Nora Roberts book." He kissed my head and sat down on the edge of the bed. "I'm sorry for being hard on you but I don't want to lose the baby. I don't want to lose you either." I understood where he was coming from. I move closer to him as I wrapped both of my arms around his right arm and place my chin on his shoulder. "I know you want to protect us but we are not made of glass." "To me you are." My legs were folded as he took his arm that I was holding and wrapped it around them. "I want to keep you and our children safe." "I'll stay in bed if you stop worrying that much. I will tell you if something is wrong. Okay?" He nodded his head as our faces were inches between each other. He had his eyes closed and I was watching him. I stare at his face as I remember seeing his face for the first time. I had seen it in front of a sunset. He looked like an angel. His hair and eyes glowed. He opens his eyes again and I can see his beautiful eyes.

Ami had prepared dinner and the family gathered in the main house. Billy had an idea to add on a bigger room so the entire family could sit together for a meal. They boys would start that in the next couple of days. Everything fell back into a rhythm. Thanksgiving was on its way and the family was excited. Lacy's family was sending them a live turkey. Amelia, Grace, and Eleanor wanted to make a traditional thanksgiving dinner for the entire family. They had never had a traditional meal. Then Christmas would be here. They had so much that need to be done.

Over the next few weeks, the family was getting ready for the holidays. Gifts were being made and babies were growing. Amelia had started showing a few days ago. Lacy was going find out what sex of the baby was in a few days. The entire family was excited.

It was the day before Thanksgiving and girls were in the kitchen trying to prepare a few things that had to be made the day before. Grace was in charge of the sides and Amelia was going to do the desserts. Eleanor was going fix a few things that they fixed in England for special occasions.

Bear POV

I was going into town with my brothers to pick up groceries for the girls and the turkey that was coming in from Lacy's family. I was on a different mission in town. I had saved up enough money to buy Charlotte an engagement ring. I was going to propose during Thanksgiving dinner in front of the family. I knew I wanted to marry her and she was fitting in quite well. She had taken on the school work for the kids. I had purchased a ring that was simple but classic. It was a small silver band with a sapphire in the middle with two diamonds on each side. I believed it was perfect for her. I was the last one to make it back to the boat. Bam didn't give me time to explain to why I was late "What was taking you so long?" "I was taking care of something important." "What can be that important? We have a live turkey on the boat and it still needs to be dressed." "If you must know, I was buying an engagement ring." Gabe stepped forward "You're going to propose?" "Yes, I'm going to ask her at dinner." I got up into the boat as we made our way
home.

Amelia POV

I was elbow deep in dough. I was making two dozen cookies, a chocolate cake, pecan pie, and pumpkin bread. I decided to make the cookies first. I was flattening out the cookies and then I would put them in the oven in our cabin. Matt had found an oven in junkyard a few days ago and it was perfect. We were wondering what was taking the boys so long. I really wanted Matt's help. I was going to teach him how to bake. I had placed both trays of cookies in the oven. I mix all the ingredients for the chocolate cake. I wanted to have the next dessert ready as the previous one comes out. I take the mix and add the 2 eggs with milk. I take my whisk and stir. I repeat the steps to make a two-layer cake. All of my pots and pans were found at the junkyard as well. I check the time and it was time for the cookies to come out. I grab a towel and place them on the counter. The cake was put in after them as I prepared the next.

The pumpkin bread was put into the oven. I wipe my forehead as I was becoming dizzy. I sit down in a chair trying to regain balance. Matt walked through the door "It smells amazing in here." He came over to kiss my forehead and looked down at me. "Are you feeling okay? Your feel hot." "I do feel dizzy." "Let's walk outside and maybe the cold air will help." He took my hand and helped me stand up. The cold Alaskan air felt nice. I think that was what I needed. I take a deep breath as I ask him to check on the oven. I sat in one of our rocking chairs as he took it out of the oven for me. My body just needed to cool down.

Grace POV

I had the boys get groceries that we didn't have for me to cook tomorrow. I was cooking green beans, corn, delved eggs, and bread. The boys were taking care of the ham and turkey. I had a special sauce that I made for the ham. It was family recipe. Then another family recipe for the turkey that I would rub on to it before it is placed in the fryer. Gabe brought in the food items that I needed. "Matt is dressing the turkey; he will bring it to you shortly." I nodded as I got started on the rub. I had finished as Matt brought it to me. "When will it be ready to be put over the fire?" "Maybe thirty minutes. The cooking of the turkey takes 12 hours. It will need to put under a fire after dinner tonight." "Sounds good, I'll come back and get it then." He walked out of my house as I had both of my hands covered in the rub.

Lacy POV

I was having pains in my right side. I was laying on my other side as the pain increased. I put my hand on the side that was causing me pain. Noah was helping the guys with something and he just checked on me. I wouldn't be back for another two hours. It was starting the be even more painful. I tried to move around to make the pain go away but I couldn't. I had to get to Noah. I kept both of my hands at my side as I made my way to our front door. It was hurting as I walked. I opened the door to not see a single soul. I couldn't see anyone in the main house. I heard the chainsaw as he was using it in his lab. I slowly make my way towards him. Every few steps I would have to stop and hold myself up on a tree. Snow was starting to fall with rain it was becoming very cold. I keep hands at my side as I get closer to the tent. Then I fell over at tree root sticking up out of the ground. I fell into the mud and I couldn't move anymore. I started calling his name over the chainsaw hoping he would hear me.
