Is this what I deserve?
No detention,
Just correction,
Is this what I want?
No warnings,
Just yearnings,
Is this what I got?
No real ones,
Just like in a roleplay.
Faking, acting, behaving,
Taking, winning, smiling,
Is this what it's like to be in a limelight?
Every eye is on you,
Even I don't know what to do.
In this life, I'm just trying to impress,
But in reality, I just can't express,
The true blue wallflower,
The late bloomer,
The weakling loner,
The secret keeper,
The always around a corner,
The not-so attention-seeker,
The complete hopeless believer,
The excluded outsider,
The non-complainer,
The never having a happy ever after...
Well, what else should I expect from this unfortunate turn of events?
Should I run away from it?
Rant about it?
Be annoyed about it?
Seek death from it?
Or just ignore it?
I'm hunting for a way put the limelight away.
Not wanting a timeline of fame.
