Selah POV
We got out the house as soon as I stepped outside the wind blows on my face. I am so nervous I wasn't trying to show it tho. And Devin wasn't helping either he didn't even bother to look at me to see if I was following, I was walking slowly but I was following, if he wanna be rude, I can play that game too. We walked a little to the corner, he finally looked at me. "hurry up! Damn I don't want to miss the bus" he said. I glared at him through my nervousness. I rushed a little and walked behind him. We stopped and I stood there. I took out my phone and plugged my headphones then played Chris Brown all the way up.
The bus came and I was about to get in but he passed way through me. Ughh this boy gets on my nerves. I get in and walk to the first empty space I found. A girl was sitting down next to me. She had dark long curly hair, caramel skin tone, and glasses. She had headphones on too but then she looked at me and smiled. I took one of my headphones off.
"Hey I'm Maria wassup" she said an took a headphone off.
"I'm Selah" I said and flashed a smile. "I'm new"
"I know, I haven't see you around so I figured. thank God I was the one you crossed up with because people is fake as fuck in here, and I can tell you about people" she whispered the last part, I noticed her strong accent but she was nice and seemed fun, but I still don't trust anyone. I smiled.
"So lets start with those sitting in the front, smart kids who don't wanna mess up with anyone" she said pointing to the quiet front part of the bus. "us, the cool as shit, the ones in the middle, that don't care bout school but we actually do" she said laughing a bit "then last but least, the 'bad asses' the group in the back" she said making air quotes, "they think they cool and shit, but most of them are failing all classes" she said chucking and pointing too where Devin was sitting with other boys. "those are Daniel, the one with juicy lips, he is chill as hell, that's Kevin, the fake blonde, he is flirty as fuck but he is also funny, I lowkey like him" she whispered that last part and I smiled "then there's Devin, he is nice and chill, but he can be a dick" she rolled her eyes "yeah I know, I live with him" her eyes wide "yooo you the girl from Juvie?" she asked and my smile faded "yeah, how you know?" I dryly responded "me and Devin are friends he told me, and girl don't get like that its ight, but anyways Devin will come around with you, I told youhe is not always an ass " she said I just nodded.
We arrived to the school and Maria was with me, she kept talking about who I should talk and who I shouldn't, who was chill and who was an ass. We went and picked my schedule up. most of my classes are with Maria which is cool. We went to our first class, French, and we saw Devin, Kevin and Daniel laughing in the back.
"Students, we have a new student, her name is Selah Hazel, anyone wants to ask her a question?" the teacher said.
"Whats your bra size?" Kevin asked "KEVIN!!!" the teacher said, if Kevin is trying to make me feel uncomfortable he thought wrong, "okay okay, are you a virgin" Kevin asked."Kevin are you serious?" the teacher said. "Well if that's all you have, I'm 34 c, and yes I'm a virgin" I said walking to Maria, the class stayed quiet and I smirked, I sat next to her and she mouthed 'you go girl' the teacher started the class and we just did our business. The rest of the day was normal, Devin and the boys would look at us all the time, I just ignored it.
