Tatsumi Rui x Reader - A Different Side

A/N- Hey guys! I haven't updated in a long time, I know. I've just got major things going on so I haven't really gotten to it. I had exams, and which I passed and just family crisis. He was such a perfect student, everyone looks up to him. He's so popular with the females and is like friends with everyone. He's so talented, smart and certainly a perfect role model. And you, you were just a nobody. You were the opposite of him.

You went to university with your two best friends, and you didn't really get along with anyone. You took your grades seriously and would flip out if you got anything below a B, But he seemed to be interested in a nobody like you. It was mysterious, but he liked you.

It all happened when your class decided to go to karaoke. Everyone bought food and drinks and just were having fun. You sat next to Tengenji and Tsukigami, who were your two best friends. Tsukigami's girlfriend had also joined and the two of you were also pretty close.

Tatsumi sat a meter away from you, and he kept giving you glances. Three girls were surrounding him and he just ignored them.

"Hey, why don't we have (Y/N) kouhai sing for us? I hear she's good." An older guy shouts.

"Ah, no thank you senpai. I'm fine." You say apologizing. You really didn't want to sing, not with him in the room.

"Oh come on! Hey, Tatsumi! Why don't you sing with her?"

"What? Please no.." You say in your mind

Everyone was shouting your name to go up and sing. Tatsumi refused to sing and everyone was shouting your name. Even Tengenji and Tsukigami were encouraging you to go. You gave up and decided to go up.

You grab the mic and sang the song they picked out. You took a deep breath and started to sing the song. You could feel his eyes on you when you sang the song. Everyone cheered for you while you were singing and it was honestly kinda fun.

After the song ended, you headed to the bathroom. Once you came out, you bumped into Tatsumi.

"Ah, sorry senpai! I didn't see you.." You apologized

"No, it's fine. You're a really good singer." He smiles and you blush.

"Ah, thank you! I should go now..." You bow and try walking past him, but he stops you.

"Can we have coffee sometimes? I'm really interested to know more about you.." He whispered.

"Ah....sure!" You hand him your phone number and walk away.

Ever since that day, Tatsumi has texted you every day. He was such a perfect guy, is there really no one else like him? But the both of you had coffee, ate dinner, ate lunch, shared good times and eventually started dating. Everyone was shocked and it was funny to watch you blush red like a tomato.

That was until something weird happened. When you were walking home one day, you felt a presence behind you. As you turned around, there was no one there. You ignored it and decided to continue to walk, but a little faster. You were moving back in with your mother and you were leaving the small apartment you had.

When you went up there, someone emerged from your apartment, wearing a black mask. His eyes looked crazy, you tried running away, but he grabbed you and held you by the neck.

"Where are you going miss? Are you leaving so soon? I liked you the most, you aren't going anywhere!" As you kept struggling against him, Tatsumi appeared and gasped. The man looked at him.

"Let her go." Tatsumi said, his voice getting deeper.

"Oh really?"

"Let her go or else."

The man lets her go and you cough, trying to catch your breath.

"You want her? You can have her!" He pushed your back with his leg and you fell, rolling down the stairs. Tatsumi quickly caught you, but you already got hurt. The guy runs away and Tatsumi informs Tengenji and Tsukigami to catch him.

The two males looked everywhere and couldn't find him. He was hiding somewhere and who know's what happened. Tsukigami's girlfriend showed up and Tatsumi asked her to stay with you. The man came out of hiding and just when he did, Tatsumi appeared.

"Oh.."

The man tried to leave but Tatsumi threw him to the ground. His leg his the guy's stomach and Tatsumi beat him up. "This is what you did to (Y/N), and you will pay." His eyes turned dark and he beat the guy to pulses. Eventually the police came and arrested him.

You were admitted into the hospital. Your younger brother came by with food. Tatsumi stayed outside your room. You walked out and sat besides him.

"Senpai, I didn't know you had a side like that. Please, don't ever take things like that." You say, looking at his bruised hand.

"I'm kind of regretting it.."

"It's okay.." You hold onto his hand and he smiles.

Even though he had a different side of him, he was still the perfect role model
