Tengenji Kakeru x Reader - Support

Tengenji looked into the mirror as he adjusted his yukata. He had a big performance tonight and he was nervous. As he finished, a figure popped through the door. "Kakeru." A big smile spread onto his face as you walked closer to him. "(Y/N), you made it." You wrapped your arms around his waist.

He hugged you back tighter onto his chest and you listened to the sounds of his heart beat. "Good luck out there, okay?" You said and he kissed your forehead. The two of you broke up the hug and he took in your outfit. "You look beautiful." You blush and giggle.

"Tengenji!" Hoshitani, Kuga, Toraishi and Ugawa all walked in through the doors. "Hey, you boors finally made it." You giggled at his little nickname for people. "(Y/N)-chan, you're here!" You hug the others, happy to see them after so long. All of you sit in his dressing room, watching him talk to other actors.

After he walks back in, he signals the show is about to begin and everyone leaves to go sit in their seats. "Kakeru, good luck." You kiss your boyfriend on the cheek and follow the others. Toraishi whistles at your kiss and Tengenji blushes.

The show started and you watched your boyfriend with love and amazement. He was perfect in this musical and you loved him for that. His friends were also awed by his perfect role and they clapped as he bowed, finishing the musical. You, Hoshitani, and the others went to go find Tengenji.

People were leaving the theater and families of the actors and actresses were rushing to congratulate them and all. When you guys went outside, Tengenji was already there, normal clothes on. The others bid Tengenji goodbye and you turned over to him. "You were great, I love it." You smiled and he chuckled.

"Of course, I'm the best aren't I ?" You laughed at his confidence and hugged him. He hugged back and wrapped an arm on around your waist. You pulled back and tiptoed to kiss him,but since you were short, he leaned down and pulled you into a heated kiss. "Kakeru." A voice said and you both broke your kiss to see Tengenji's father.

"Father." The both of you bowed. You were very nervous, his father wasn't really fond of you. He wanted Tengenji to focus on his career more and he also had someone else in mind for him, but Tengenji denied. He said he loved you and wouldn't leave you.

"Kakeru, let's go home. We'll talk in the car." He said,not even turning around.

"Father, I'm not leaving without her. It's dark outside, please drop her off at her home." He said and his father sighed. "Alright." You got into the limo and sat across Tengenji and his father. You awkwardly sat there, watching them talk. His father seemed to be happy about his performance.

"You're doing very well son, just do even better and forget the people that will only cause you distraction." He glanced at you and you felt angry. "Father, will you please stop?" Tengenji said. "Sir, please don't say that! I have supported Kakeru for a long time and have never distracted him. I know you don't approve of us, but please trust me. I love him very much, and will support him for the rest of my life!"

"He's done such a good job and I'm happy to be by his side and help him with whatever he needs. So please sir, please accept us so we can continue to support each other forever." You bowed and there was a silent before Tengenji's father chuckled. "Kakeru, you sure picked a bold one. Keep on eye on each other okay?" Tengenji and your faces lot up and thanked him.

The car stopped in front of your house. You stepped out of the car and so did Tengenji. "Kakeru, you were amazing tonight. I can't wait to see your next musicals." You say and he hugs you. "Thanks, it means a lot to me. And I'm so glad my dad approves of you now. Shall I take out the engagement ring?"

"Kakeru, it's too early for marriage. Maybe after college and when your career kicks off?" Tengenji nods and kisses you. "I'm always going to support you, no matter what."
