Tsukigami Haruto x Reader - Winter Miracles

You never really believed in miracles, always thought they were a myth. That was until your baby was born. You and your husband, Tsukigami Haruto had been wanting to have a child for many years. After years of trying, you were finally pregnant.

It all started when his family had suggested everyone to go to their winter cabin together. Of course that included your parents and siblings as well. You were excited to be able to spend time with both your in- laws and your family.

Your husband was a little worried because you were due anytime soon and you didn't want to lose the baby, so he invited his doctor friend along for the ride. Haruto's brother Kaito, had brought along his newly-wed wife. You guys had attended the wedding earlier this month.

You immediately started packing as soon as you heard the news.

"(Y/N), are you sure we should go?"

"Of course! It will give everyone the chance to bond! Plus, I think it will be good for our baby to enjoy some winter air."

"Are you sure? What if something happens? I don't want you to have a miscarriage or anything."

"Darling, I know you are worried. I was at first too, but we have so many people with us; nothing can go wrong."

"What if you go into labor? We won't have any hospitals nearby to get to."

"You are right about that...hmmmm."

"Maybe I should invite doctor Yuuya, just in case."

"That's a great idea! My sisters also a nurse so she can look after me as well."

Haruto wrapped you up in his arms and you moved your arms and wrapped them around his back.

"I can't wait for our baby to be born."

"Me too."  The two of you share a kiss.

Haruto's father rented two cars for both families to fit and have enough space. The ride to the lakeside cabin was bearable. It was fun to listen to music and just engage in conversation with everyone.

Once you all got there, you were breath taken. It was huge and a beautiful to look at. Everyone immediately started exploring the cabin once they got inside. You and Haruto found your rooms and settled in.

"Why did you never bring me here? The place is amazing."

"I haven't been here much. My family comes here like once a year."

"I can't believe you guys have a whole hot doings here too!"

"Don't get too excited now. We should save it for tonight." He wrapped an arm around you and whispered in her ear.

"I thought you said we should lay off until the baby is born?"

"I can't resist when you're looking like this."

"Oh you! Let's go meet with the others!"

The rest of the day was spent playing games, having fun in the snow, and just having delicious homemade food. You got to bond with your husbands family and your family as well. A little past dinner, you started to feel anxious.

You weren't sure what it was, but you had a gut feeling that the baby was going to come. You ignored it for a bit and returned to your room. Haruto was on the bed, reading a book. You quickly changed into something comfortable and lay down besides him.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, you?"

He nods and puts his book down, bringing you closer. He kisses you and you kiss him back, a little eager than him. He slowly climbs on top of you, making sure not to squish your pregnant belly.

When you two started to get a little intimate, you felt something start to drop down your legs. Oh no, it was time and why now? You thought and suddenly stopped your husband.

"What's wrong?"

"I think my water broke." Haruto's eyes grew wide and look down to see that the bed was a little wet.

"What timing, oh lord."

Haruto quickly informed the others and doctor Yuuya. Everyone came rushing as well as your sister. They quickly moved you bath that was filled with water.

You wanted to have a water birth and they had set it up before you went into labor. After hours of being in labor, your baby was finally born, it was a boy. Doctor Yuuya and your sister took the baby to get him cleaned and Haruto and your parents lifted you, so you could rest elsewhere.

"Look at him, he looks just like you." Haruto says as he hold his son.

"Really? I think he has your eyes."

The both of you laugh and then everyone else is arguing on who gets to hold the baby first. It really was a winter miracle.
