Nanjo Koki x Reader - IDOL

Your dream to become an idol had become true. You were half Korean and half Japanese and you joined a kpop girl group and it's been a year since your group debuted. You moved to Korea when you were about fourteen and became an idol two years later.

Your group was together for a year and became popular very quickly. You were deemed "queen of Japan" by fans and were very popular in Japan. You became the main vocalist and visual of the group. When your company said you were going to promote your new song in Japan, you were more than happy.

You were able to see your parents and take your members sightseeing. Your group was also in the process of filming a reality show of your travels in Japan. However there was one person you wanted to see, Nanjo Koki.

He was your childhood friend and you used to have a major crush on him. Lucky for you, your group was performing a special stage at Ayanagi academy. You were desperate to see him at this point.

You and your bandmates were shocked to see how big the school was. This was defiantly a prestigious school for sure. You were proud of Koki for getting into this school. The director of the school took you around the school, giving your group a small tour.

They let you use a practice room to warm up and what not. While in the middle of practice, your group was introduced to the student council. They bought you out into another room with their kouhais's and the boys were all excited.

A lot of them started asking for autographs and it was starting to get a little hectic until you spotted him.

"Ko-kun!" You spot the white haired male and run over to him, hugging him. He blushes and hugs you back, the other boys were confused and jealous.

"It's been a while eh?"

"Yeah four years right?" He nods and you laugh.

"I'm glad you pursued your dream, I can't wait to see you perform tonight." He says and you smile.

All of a sudden, his classmates surround him, bombarding him with questions.

"How to do you know (Y/N)-chan?"

"Are you guys dating?"

"How could you betray us like this, Nanjo-kun!"

"Woah guys, calm down. Me and Ko-kun are childhood friends. We've known each other since diaper days." You say and they all realized their mistake.

"We've love to stay and chat, but we have some things to do. See you girls later and good luck on your performance!" The boys all walk out and your group goes back to practice.

Later that day, the festival was in full motion. There was stalls with food, games, a whole bunch of fun things. You watched it all through the windows. Your group was the first to perform before anyone else. The schools musical department would set to perform afterwards.

After gathering your things, you guys were summoned to perform. Going though all the secret entrances, you finally reached backstage. You could hear the roars of the fanboys. You peeled through the curtains and saw that they had light-sticks, signs, and pictures of each member, it felt like they were at their own concert.

Once you all were ready, the lights started to dim and the boys started to chant your names. The curtain began to unfold as you all took your place. Music began to blast through the speakers and boys started to scream louder.

You started to sing and dance and your members started to follow. Each of your members took turns singing in Korean and Japanese. The last song was a solo that you decided to perform.

You tried looking at the crowd to find Nanjo, but you didn't spot him. Once the show ended, your group joined you and bowed to everyone.  You spoke some Japanese and translated for the others. Leaving the stage, you finally saw Nanjo.

Him and his friends were getting ready to perform. You wished them good luck and watched them from backstage.  They did an amazing job on stage, you couldn't keep your eyes away. His movements, his voice, his face, you loved everything about it. You were mesmerized.

Once their performance was over, it was already dark out. There was a firework display and bone fire dance celebration happening. Your team had switched back to regular clothes and were out on the field. You talked to fans, took some pictures, signed some things, and now you were finally heading to find some privacy.

You were alone, watching the fire when you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see Nanjo with a smile on his face.

"Hey, what a great performance you guys put on!" You say, tucking your hair behind your ear.

"Thanks, your group also had an amazing performance too!"

"Thanks....."

"We haven't had much time to catch up.....you wanna dance?" He asked, looking away with his hands out.

You blush and take his hand. The two of you dance around the bonfire, all eyes looking at the both of you.

"I never knew you would become this famous...."

You chuckle. "Neither have I, but don't worry! I'm sure you will become a successful musician someday as well..." You say and you both laugh.

"Hey (y/n), I want to tell you something."

"Yes?"

"Until I become a real musician, will you have my heart?"

"W-what?" You heart almost stops after hearing his words.

"You heard me. I want you to become my girlfriend but not now. When I become successful, I will take you then. Will you wait for me?" He looks into your eyes seriously and everyone around you is whispering and talking.

"Damn Nanjo, so bold!"

"Did he just ask out a pop star?"

"He's so lucky just to dance with her!"

Nanjo's friends are all jealous as well. You were so caught up as tears fell from your eyes.

"Of course."  He pulls you into a hug and someone whistles and a series of people shouting "kiss, kiss, kiss!"

You look at each other and laugh, he kisses you anyways.
