Chapter 18 - Power

Hehe!  I'm doing so well with exams... I think...
So as a reward I'm writing a chapter.

Shadow, Fire, Air... I controlled them all.
Only two elements left, Earth and Water.

Nobody knew. Well nobody except for the man at Lux. He'd seen me use air.

Kade looked at me before we entered the palace.
"Lucian's not in good shape. Your disappearance didn't do him good. What you were doing, I don't wanna know. Just don't do that again." he kissed me on the forehead and opened the door.

I was ambushed with hugs. Jess.
"You just jumped! That's not normal Mist! That's insane!" She hugged me so I tight, I started struggling to breathe.

After getting her off me, I dismissed myself saying I was going to my room. They took the lie.
I walked around the corner and turned into a shadow.

Lucian lay in his bed. He was awake.
I visualized and he squeaked, giggling under my breath I walked over to him.

"I have a present for you." I told him and sat in the stool next to his bed.

"For me, you shouldn't have." he smiled.

Jem's death had taken its toll on him.
He was pale and cold.

I took the vial out of my pocket.
He looked at it. It was something he might have heard of.

"Lux..?  You went to Lux?" he had heard of it.
I nodded.

I gave him the vial and he drank it all.
A light flared at the end of his bed and I jumped when a man came out the light pillar.

He looked at us.
"How are Ignis's children." his voice radiated power.

"Children?" Lucian looked at me.
Oops... Well if someone had to know, I was glad it was Lucian.

"Before I speak further. Prove you're a fire." the man spoke again.

Lucian, now full of energy from the vial's content, produced a flame in the middle of the room.

"Good boy, not much power I see. Now girl, show me your fire."

"Sir, but she's a shadow..." Lucian started but stopped when I made a fire flare in the centre of the room.

I then pulled air around the room, sweeping papers along with it. Lastly I pulled shadows and covered the flame and wind and made it return the room to its neat state.

"Muto... It's been a long time since I've seen a shift. And a grey of all people!" the man grinned.

Lucian understood. His mother was a muto, not a very powerful one, but one non the less.

"I am a water. Rambo Aqua. I am the Guardian of Aqua. You visited Lux and took healing syrum for your friend. I was sent to punish you, but to punish a muto... It would be disastrous. So you are dismissed from punishment."

He looked at me and water hit me square on. I fell backwards on the floor.
"Enjoy the water powers Mist Night."
He disappeared in a flash of light.

"What the hell just happened!" Lucian said offering me a hand to get up.

"I just unlocked water powers." I sighed...
I explained about my ability to control all the elements all I needed was to be attacked by an earth, then I'd have all the elements.

Kade had hit me with fire.
The man at Lux with air.
Master Aqua with water.
And my own shadow ability.

Now, to visit Queen Bianca of the earths and get her to be really mad at me...
