Chapter 15- Remember

Kade's P.O.V

Kade paced around the room. He'd hurt Mist. Hurt her.
His powers had weakened.
Mist kept flikering between visible and shadow state. Her powers healing her, and using his to do it.

It had been two hours since the fight. Millicent was gone. Hopefully anyways.

Jess sat in front of the mirror, Lily doing her hair. Lily was wearing a light purple dress that had silver beading.
Jess though look beautiful. A loose white dress with gold and blue gems set into beautiful patterns around the belt. Her black hair half up half down in some way only Lily understood.

Mist turned shadow again. But when she reappeared her eyes were open, and glowing gold.
Dark shadow power showing.

Kade froze. She probably hated him so much.

"I remember..." she whispered.
Remembered what?

"I remember Lucian, I remember you. Five years ago, your fire castle. A flower of fire." she spoke almost rushed.

He remembered. He had forgotten the quiet girl with golden hair, curious as a cat.
Well now it made sense why his powers had sparked that day.

Millicent's necklace had erased all memory of each other, as well as controled Kade.

Lily turned to him and Mist, "She's up! Come on we have four hours to get you ready!" she shoved him our the door and into a servant carrying a pie.

Oh come on! Not again!

Mist's P.O.V

Dressed in a red dress with a silver belt. Red for fire, that which I now secretly possessed. Kade didn't even know. A gift from the king of fires from five years ago, suppressed but Millicent's necklace.

A secret kept between the real king and I.
I had cured him for an hour once, from the roamer kings control.

That would stay secret until I could see the king, as he had left to go back to his kingdom. Or until I had to use fire.

My eyes hadn't stopped glowing gold since I had woken. No one knew why, a mystery that even boggled my mind.

The wedding was about to start. I got into position and the song began...

I stood where I was placed.
Next to Jess, , holding her flowers, beautiful tigerlilys. Ryan smiling.
Someone asked if anyone objected and then it was silent as Jod stood up.

"I object." he said and Jess looked at .
"Jod?" Jess spoke confused. Shit! I hadn't told her.
"I don't love you anymore. I love Ryan." her voice quivered. Once, long ago, she had loved him.

His voice turn into one of rage."If I can't have you, then no one can."
Jess looked at me, I was looking else where.

Jod turned to the person next to him, Jem and stabbed her through the heart with a knife.
Lucian fell to the ground with Jem, crying.

Roomers appeared everywhere, and not just shadow roomers, all different types.
A full out war started.

Ryan went after Jod, Kade keeping the roamers away from the crowd.
A roamer jumped out at me, it's claw diving into my side, but it disintergrated before it could cause any damage.

"Thanks Kade!" I yelled.

All kinds of roamers, shadow, Fire, water, earth, and air roamers filled the hall.
Faeries Vs roamers.

Jod and Ryan were dueling in the centre of the hall, everyone staying clear of the earths dueling. I froze on the platform.

Lily was cornered. Blasting shadows in her direction I knocked the roamers away and she used my shadow to kill them.

Kade had lead the guests out and had joined the fray. His flames dancing across the marble floor.

Lucian had stood, weak, and had grabbed Jess, trying to pull her away from Ryan's side.
Jod spotted her and moved his dagger to stab her through her back. Lucian turned in a half circle, him taking the blow. He fell to the floor blood pooling around him.

"No!" Kade shouted from behind a wall of roamers. They all went down in a second.

Jod looked shocked.
Jess pit her hand out in front of her, her hand as if it was holding something. She looked him in the eye, "You are a fucken asshole." she said and pulled her hand towards her chest.
Jod's heart lay on the floor now. Blood surrounded everything. His body lay lifeless a metre from her.

Somehow her dress was still white, not even a drop of blood ruined it.
Luckily I wore red so no one would see me bleed.

Jess dropped down next to Lucian and healed him. Easily. Her powers were stronger because of her anger.

He looked at us from the floor. A tear rolled down his face. Jem had died.
There was no way to bring back the dead.

"Mist, Mist! Dive under the fall, find the map. Get Lucian his powers back." My father's ghost spoke to me.

I nodded. Lucian was my friend. I would help him.

I turned and looked out the broken window that faced the valley, two stories from the ground.

I jumped, falling until I felt the impact...
