~Chapter 5~

Lexi’s POV.

After getting my lunch from the small room they call “The Line Room”, I made my way over to my friends. I hadn’t seen them since school started the day before, as I’d skipped school. But today, I was gonna have a laugh with them. And nothing would stop me. Unless-

“Well shit.”

“Lexi. Nice to see you too.”

My friend Gemma greeted me, with raised eyebrows and one arm around Louis’ waist. He grimaced from his spot next to Gemma, and nodded in acknowledgement. “Hello, Lexi.”He muttered, before turning back to Gemma and kissing her on the cheek. I gagged at that. Was Gemma serious?

I turned to my other friends, they have to be feeling the way I was about this. But there was no chance of me talking to anyone of them; Jami, Char, and Poppy all had their mouths on some guy I recognised from the previous year… I think I slammed one of them into a locker, but I’m not too sure.

“Great.” I mutter, dumping my bag on the floor and sliding onto one of the benches, as Gemma turned her head so she was joining in the snog group.

Let’s just say, it wasn’t the best lunch ever. But I knew how to spice it up…

Louis’ POV.

Gemma was friends with Lexi? My girlfriend was best friends with my enemy- enemy? Holy hell, why am I now picturing Lexi in a Batman super villain costume… Snap out of it Lou! Your amazing girlfriend has her talented tongue in your mouth, and Lexi is- Lexi? I dunno.

I shut my eyes, and deepened the kiss, but was distracted by a sudden ringing of a bell, and pulled back. Lexi’s butt could be seen vanishing behind the swinging doors of the cafeteria, and the emergency fire case was smashed. I snorted inwardly, as Gemma grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the hall with her. The entire school assembled on the front lawn (field), and the principal sat everyone down as the ringing came to a stop. Her face was furious.

“There is no fire. No fire. And no drill planned. And you know what? The cafeteria emergency fire alarm has been smashed. So someone did this. Now this isn’t funny. If anyone knows anything about this; maybe if you did it, own up now, and we won’t go too hard on you.”

There was one of those awkward silences after, and everyone looked shiftily to either side of them. I rolled my eyes, and stood up. Gemma gasped, “Louis! It wasn’t you babe! Sit down!”

She tugged on my hand, but I refused to be pulled back to the ground. The principal looked at me, surprise on her face. “Tomlinson? You did this?” She asked, her voice giving her away on how confused she was. I shook my head. “No Miss, but I know who did it.”

The entire school gasped; but I didn’t care if I got the reputation as a snitch- I had to stand up to this girl sooner or later. “Very, Louis. Care to tell us now, or would you rather come to my office and say?” Miss asked. I shrugged. “I’m not afraid to say her name now, if that’s what you mean. Although, I may need a bodyguard when Lexi catches me after ratting her out.” I grinned to myself as another audible gasp ran through the crowd, as everyone’s heads turned to look at Lexi. Her face was priceless. I smirked at her, as the principal walked over to her and pulled her up, before marching her off to her office.

Louis: 1     Lexi: 0

Lexi’s POV.

He ratted me out. Louis ratted me out. Holy shit. His face when I got lead away, was- what? Victorious? Oh Louis, if this is a game you want to play, I have one thing to say to you:

GAME ON.
