Louis’ POV.

It’s now 7am, and I’ve just woken up. I think I must’ve fallen asleep around 5, so that’s good I got two hours I suppose.

Lexi’s been dozing in and out of sleep; her contractions still aren’t very regular, and the midwife said she was still only at 4cm, and that times the amount of time it’s taken means it’s going quite slow. Or at least I think that’s what she said.

Lexi stirred in my arms, blinking herself awake, her face screwing up in pain as another contraction took hold of her.

“Why didn’t I choose hospital Lou, why?” She groaned, curling herself over and stretching out again. I tugged a strand of hair out of her face, and kiss her nose, taking her hand in mine so she could squeeze it if she wanted to.

“Because you know you can do this. I know you can do this.” I whispered, as she started breathing heavily again. She shook her head. “I know you can… he’s going to be beautiful, he’ll look just you. Maybe even have my eyes, but everything else will be just like you.”

“Well, it would be a little surprising if everything looks like her.”

I looked up at the doorway to see Hannah smiling cheekily, and chuckled at her joke. “That’s true.”

Lexi slowly started to relax again, as Jo came in.

“Louis, I’ve got to go make sure the girls are ready to leave for school on time- they don’t know you’re here, or what’s happening, and if Lottie or anyone calls you don’t tell them- or I’ll have even more hyperactive girls to deal with.” She said, kissing my forehead and smiling at Lexi.

“Ok Mum. And did you call the boys?” I asked, as she moved to leave. She shook her head.

“No, I thought it’d be best for you to tell them.” She smiled, swiftly shutting the door behind her.

I stretched out on the bed as Lexi started to close her eyes again, and sat upright, finding my phone on the bedside table and texting the boys. I didn’t really want to call them as it was meant to be their family times- but I thought a text would be ok.

How wrong was I.

Harry’s POV.

“Shut up.” I mumbled to my phone, as it buzzed.

“Shut up!” I whined, as it continued to buzz. Sighing, I rolled over and picked it up, turning it on so the light blinded my sleep-filled eyes. I read the text quickly, and my eyes grew wider than wide.

“GEMMA!” I hollered to my sister next door, who was in my room within seconds.
