It Takes Two (A Zanvis Fanfiction)

Chapter 1: An Invitation

<Zane's P.O.V.>

I woke up a little bit later than I wanted to this morning. Today was Friday so I still had to do work. At least I work from home, that's good.

I got dressed in my normal black hoodie and pants. Then I quickly walked downstairs to get some breakfast. I grabbed my bread and took two slices and threw them in the toaster. I waited about five minutes till I heard the ding that they were done. During that five minutes I got out the butter and a butter knife, as well as a plate. I grabbed the two pieces of pieces of what was now toast and placed them on top of each other on the plate I got out. I buttered both of them. Then took the plate and went upstairs to my office.

I placed the plate on my office desk and sat in my office chair. While turning on my computer, I took a bite of my first piece of toast and put it back on the plate. My computer turned on fast and I first checked my emails. I had five new messages. Four of them were about work but the newest one was from Aphmau. I clicked on that one first before the other ones.
Her email read:
'Zane! ME AND AARON JUST GOT ENGAGED YESTERDAY! We already planned out the wedding and I'm inviting you to come! You are one of my best friends and I want you to come! I know you don't like to come to this stuff but I hope you come. Please come Zane, for me.
If you decide to come, email me back! See you soon!

"Wow. She got engaged and planned the whole wedding out in a day. Wow." I said, aloud. "I guess I'll go but only for Aphmau."
I closed the email and opened a new draft. I emailed her back, saying that I'll come to her wedding. I clicked send and continued on with my work day.
