<Zane's P.O.V.>
Today was the day of Aphmau and Aaron's big day. Their ceremony was nice. The after party was not the best though.
I sat at a table with Garroth, Vylad, Laurance, and Dante. We were all wearing the same tuxedo and shoes. The four of them were all chatting together. I sat there on my phone, not talking at all. After about twenty minutes of sitting there alone, I decided to go talk to Aphmau for a little bit. As I walked to her, I saw a white-haired guy walking to the table I was just at. He looked upset and sad. I ignored it and continued to walk to Aphmau.
As I walked up to her, she was talking to Nicole and Katelyn. I waited till she was done talking with them to walk up to her.
They finally finished talking and I approached Aphmau.
"Hey Aphmau." I said. She turned around in her beautiful long, white wedding dress that flowed perfectly in the wind and looked at me.
"Hi Zane. One minute." She said and walked over to Aaron, who was sitting at a table, alone.
"Hey Aaron!" She yelled. I ignored the rest of what she said. I stared at them and waited.
"Aphmau?" I muttered.I waited for about five minutes, then walked back to my table. I wanted to cry but didn't.
"What's wrong Zane?" Garroth asked as I sat back in my seat. I didn't answer.
"Zane, are you okay?" Vylad asked. Again, I decided not to say anything.
"Zane, you haven't talked the entire time. You sat in the back of the church at the ceremony. What wrong? What's the problem?" Garroth asked. I felt a tear roll down my face. The first one in forever. I looked at everyone who at the table. They were all looking at me. Garroth... Vylad... Laurance... Dante... And the white haired guy from earlier.
"Aaron.... He's the problem." I answered.
"How is he the problem?" Dante asked. I felt another tear roll down my face.
"Ever since he started to hangout with Aphmau, me and Aphmau have never been the same. We used to laugh, talk, and tell stories. But that's all gone. She only hangs out with Aaron and when she does hangout with me, the only stories she tells are about Aaron. All I am to her is an after thought. That's it." I said. We were all silent, until the white haired one spoke.
"It's the same way for me. But that's a nicer way to put it... An after thought."
