Chapter 17: Telling Everyone

<Travis' POV>

"Do you think everyone will take it well?" Zane asked as we sat on the couch, cuddling until it was time to go to Aphmau's.

"Honestly, I don't know. I'm just hoping for the best." I replied.

"Well, it's almost time to go, so I'm going to get a shower to try and relieve some stress." Zane said as he stood up and started to walk to the stairs.

"Can I come with you?" I asked, smirking. Zane stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He walked back to me and punched my left arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" I asked, rubbing left arm with my right.

"You know what it was for. Now, leave me alone while I'm in the shower." Zane demanded as he turned around and walked upstairs.

"You're no fun!" I yelled to him.

I sat on the couch, on my phone, waiting for Zane to be done with his shower. Suddenly he walked down in his normal clothes and we walked together to Aphmau and Aaron's house.

Zane knocked on their front door. A few seconds later, Aaron opened the door.

"Hey guys. Aph has been fangirling since you called her Zane." He said as he let us in.

"I'm not surprised." Zane replied. We walked to the living room, which was right next to the front door. I sat on the couch next to Zane as Aaron sat on the other couch.

"Where's Aphmau?" Zane asked.

"She's in the kitchen finishing the cupcakes she was making." Aaron answered.

"We just got here. You're going to see her eventually. Relax." I said. Zane rolled his eyes and went into the kitchen. I was about to say something to Aaron, but someone knocked on the door.

"That must be everyone else." Aaron said and got up to answer the door.

Both dinner and dessert where over and we where all hanging out in the living room. I looked over to Aphmau, to see her giving me a 'tell everyone now' look. I nodded as I stood up and walked to the middle of the living room. Everyone went silent as I stood there.

"I have something I'd like to announce. Well, something that we'd like to announce." I said as the room stayed silent. I motioned Zane to come up with me. He just shook his head 'no' as everyone stared at us. Aphmau was sitting right next to him so she pushed him off the couch. He walked up next to me and put his head down.

"I don't want to do this." Zane mumbled but only I heard it.

"Zane and I are dating." I bluntly said as I put my arm around Zane who was still looking at the floor. Everyone but Aphmau and Aaron gasped because they already knew. Everyone  then clapped. I look at Garroth, who's giving me a death stare. I smirked and look back at where Zane was standing. He's now looking at everyone. Zane then looks at me. Zane hugs me as I lean in to kiss him. Zane doesn't immediately kiss back but eventually he melts his way into the kiss.

"I hate you." Zane playfully says as he leans his head on my shoulder.

"I love you too." I say.
