Chapter 16: New Roommate

<Zane's P.O.V.>

*beep beep beep*

I slowly opened my eyes only to be blinded by the sun light peeking through my black curtains. My phone was on my nightstand right next to my bed, so I grabbed it and shut off my alarm. It was currently 5:30 in the morning so I went back to sleep for a little bit.

~5 hours later~

My alarm went off again, but this time when I opened my eyes, I realized it was an alarm to get ready for the interview I had today. I've been spending a lot of money lately so I had to get a second job or a roommate. It was 10:30 and my interview was at 11:30, so I quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs.  I grabbed some cereal and quickly ate it.
'Hurry up, Zane. You'll be late.' I thought to myself as I placed my empty bowl, as well as my spoon in the sink and continued to get ready.

~time skip to after the interview~

I walked outside of the place where I had my interview and got into my car.
'What am I going to do? They just told me I couldn't work there, now I have to either get a different job as well as my stay at home one or get a roommate.' I said aloud. Then it hit me.
"Travis!"

I quickly called Travis and told him to meet me at my place in a few minutes. He agreed and I drove home.

~time skip to Zane getting home~

As I was unlocking my house, I heard footsteps from behind me. I turned around and saw Travis.

"Hey Travis. Thanks for coming. I really need to talk to you." I said, as I opened the door. He nodded and we both went in.

Travis sat on the couch and I sat down next to him. I looked into his emerald green eyes as he looked into mine. Travis suddenly smirked and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed him back.

"What do you need to talk about?" Travis asked, breaking our kiss.

"We've been dating for a while now and I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me?" I asked. Travis smiled and wrapped his arms around me. I hugged him back, assuming that means 'yes'.

"I'd love to live with you." Travis said. I laughed and kissed his cheek.

"Need help packing?" I offered.

"Nah. I think the guys will gladly help me move... Wait... They don't know we're dating yet, do they." Travis suddenly went wide eyed.

"If you want to tell them then you can. I don't mine." I replied. He smirked.

"Then that means we'd have to tell all of our friends, then. Huh." Travis teased.

"Fine. I'll text Aphmau and see if she'll invite everyone to her and Aaron's house to tell them." I said and Travis nodded. I grabbed my phone and started to text Aphmau.

(Z=Zane , A=Aphmau)

Z- Hey, Aph. You there?
A- Hi Zane! Whatcha need?
Z- Do you and Aaron have plans tonight because me and Travis want to tell everyone were dating?
A- Really?!?!
Z- Yes and we were wondering if we could do it at your house because no one will come to mine and Travis will have to tell the guys why he's invited everyone over.
A- YES!!! Of course!!! I'll text everyone now. Come over around 5:00 or so. Bye!
Z- Thanks. Bye.

"Well she said she'll do it." I said as I put down my phone. Travis hugged me and I hugged back. He's nervous, I can tell.

"I'm happy and scared." He said.

"Me too, Travis. But if they don't except us then they aren't real friends." I reassured him. He smiled and we continued cuddling on the couch until it was time to head to Aphmau and Aaron's house.
